   Ashtree House is a lovely welcoming B&B in a wonderful location close to Brontë country & delightful arty towns like Hebden Bridge. Lots of excellent walks with stunning views & a very comfortable bedroom plus guest sitting room to relax in when you return. Breakfast was delicious & as a gluten-free guest I really appreciated the wide choice of gf options - special mention to the lovely homemade biscuits in the room & the breakfast granola. Chris & Bev were warm & friendly hosts & we would love to return at some future date.

   Chris and Bev go out of their way to ensure a big welcome, the breakfast is excellent, the rooms are super clean and comfortable. The garden is lovely to sit in at the end of a day exploring. There is also a guest sitting room with smart TV. You can walk to eating places in the village within a few minutes.

   I stayed here with my girlfriend for one night and it was really cosy and I felt welcomed and very comfortable. I wish I was able to stay for more than just one night as the location itself is quiet and looks beautiful when you walk up the road during the day. We had breakfast in the morning and it came out quick, also the food was very fresh and high quality. Chris and Bev were amazing and I’m so happy I was able to meet them as they even gave us some pointers for the area and what to do. I will definitely be returning and I hope that there are more than 2 cookies in the cookie jar as they were fantastic :)

   This is a slightly late review as we went to stay a night in November but still... if I could give 10 stars.. 100 stars - I would! Absolutely wonderful and charming hosts that make the most delicious breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a green garden view. Bev and Chris - thank you so much! We will be back later this year and can't wait! (Hope you managed to make a choice between the two black puddings, both were yummy!)

   Many thanks to Chris and Bev for making our stay at Ashtree House such an enjoyable experience. Our ensuite room was spotlessly clean, with a most comfortable bed and was beautifuly decorated. The complementary tea, and coffee making extras were most welcome. Our breakfast was delicious with a wide range of choices to chose from. I chose the full English Breakfast which did not disappoint. Chris and Bev could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They really made us feel special and most certainly have hospitality of to a fine art. We will most deffinatly stay at the Ashtree House Thornton the next time we are in the Bradford /Halifax area. Alan and Vicki

   Absolutely brilliant stay! Couldn't of asked for more. Really nice genuine couple hosted us, it was home away from home no complaints no problems at all. Breakfast and coffee was top notch. Chris and Bev really went above and beyond for us. We will be back again!

   We unfortunately only had an overnight stop at this fantastic guest house, but we were really delighted with the friendliness of Chris and Bev. The house us furnished to a high standard. The garden was lovely. The breakfast was outstanding. The next time we are visiting family and need accommodation we will certainly stop here again! Thank you

   What a great place to stop. Our experience was great from start to finish. Our hosts, Chris and Bev couldn't do enough to make is feel more welcome, nothing was too much trouble. Even gave us a lift to the local pub to get an evening meal. Our room was immaculate and very clean. Tea and coffee was available in our room. The place itself is very warm and inviting and our breakfast was amazing. Can't recommend Ashtree House enough and will definately be going back.
