Started living here soon to be a year ago. Rooms are well sized for the price paid, especially considering all bills apart from council tax are included in the rent. Can recommend for city centre living for sure.

All bills are inclusive barring council tax and the building comes equipped with a wash room, gym and storage space for bikes. I never write online reviews but I live at The Grand Mill and I thought I would leave my thoughts because I have read bad reviews about this building. The first thing to know is that the building isn't a hotel, its just a regular block of apartments. The problems happened a few years ago when basically a scammer called Mohamed pretended to own rooms at The Grand Mill and he put them on places like airbnb and expedia. People would pay their money through those sites and then turn up at the building expecting a room. Mohamed would then meet them outside and pretend that it was fully booked and take them somewhere else to a horrible room elsewhere in Bradford or Leeds. Dodgy. The problem is that then people don't realise that this is a scammer messing with the building, and nothing to do with the building itself. They then leave bad reviews which I think it very unfair. Provided that you enquire via the official website, and you view the room in person, then you have nothing to worry about. I have lived here for years and it's a good place. Always kept clean, nice people, great location and most people who live here now have lived here for years and that shows how nice it is.
Dire Dire Dire! There's nothing grand about the Grand Mill, this is situated in a run down area and really ain't somewhere we could recommend. We expected a apartment with full kitchen but we're shown into a tiny room with use of a shared kitchen. The bed really wasn't a double bed but neither was the duvet as that was definitely a single.......between the two of us. When the owner left and we pulled back the quilt the bed was heavily marked and this was the final straw....... we couldn't stop in these squalid conditions so booked another hotel from where I write this review in comparably luxurious surroundings.
