   Love this cinema! Its like going back in time! They only have 1 screen but show the most popular films that have just come out. You can get a mug of tea in the interval for £1.50 which I love! Really reasonably priced for film too think its £5

   What a place. 1st visit and won’t be the last. Loved the film and atmosphere. The ice cream at the interval was delicious. My only worry was whether the seats would be comfortable. They didn’t disappoint. Very comfy! Very Nostalgic x

   Wonderful experience at the Rex - hired the cinema for a treat with family and friends and it was great. You can have the film of your choice! The staff are always lovely and the interval and refreshments are fab - tea in a proper mug and Jennys ice cream.Thank you.

   A blast from the past. When I was a child sixty years ago cinemas were just like this! Even down to intermission to buy an ice-cream from the the last with a tray! I loved it! The only thing that has changed is a state of the art picture technology giving better results than of old. An amazing cinemas and amazingly old fashioned prices! I love it!

   I love the Rex cinema. I’ve been going since I was a child and have seen many great movies here, leaving me with cherished memories. Really old fashioned and great character. The modern multi screen cinemas are overrated with booming bass and lazy boy seats. The staff at the Rex are lovely to meet and talk with. I wish I could go more often. A real piece of cinema history. If you want culture this is the place to go. Proper cup of tea too. Fantastic. Long may it continue. D.
