   Purchased a mattress from here . Would recommend very much. Staff are very polite and friendly. Not pushy at all. I changed my mind over the order so went back in and the staff were very accommodating with this. Nothing was too much. Thank you so much to Catherine who was really helpful and amazing throughout !

   Delivery was great. We’ve both struggled with the new mattress, had sore shoulders so not sure what to think. It was t clarified when we bought the mattress that there was a cost to return if it didn’t suit us. We we only just told it was easy and we could return if not happy within the the days given. This now means if this mattress is causing shoulder pain, we ll have to pay a cost to return that we were not made aware of. It’s a shame as the sales lady was really good apart front m this

   First of all, I want to share this disappointment publicly. We purchased an Artisan mattress from Bensons, trusting its quality and paying a significant amount — but it smells like a barn. Every night I feel like I’m sleeping next to livestock and wake up to a strong, unpleasant odour. When I first contacted the company, their advice was simply to “wait five days” and the smell would go away. Well, here we are—two weeks later—and it’s still like sleeping in the middle of a petting zoo. Despite having a large, well-ventilated bedroom and airing the mattress on both sides for two weeks, the smell has not gone away. I was told the odour would disappear in five days and that it’s “normal” due to the natural fabrics. They claimed it wasn’t a fault and said if I wanted to exchange it, I would need to pay a fee plus a £90 delivery charge. I’ve been dealing with this awful smell for two weeks. There was absolutely no concern for customer satisfaction, and I would definitely not recommend them. I tried cleaning it with baking soda today, but I honestly have no hope left. It’s ridiculous to pay this much and go through such an issue. I’ve never heard of anyone else experiencing this with natural fabric mattresses from other brands.

   Richard at the Leamington Spa store spent about 1.5 hours with us letting us try out a lot of mattresses to find the right one for both me and my husband. He was patient and we didn't feel pressured into a sale at any point. Richard was knowledgeable about each type and make of mattress and the pros and cons of each. He also helped us find the perfect divan and headboard too. Great service and looking forward to getting our new bed and mattress in a few weeks

   DON'T buy a bed from Bensons. I'm not sure where all these high scores come from but my experience of Bensons for Beds is that their service is absolutely shocking. I won't bore you with every detail, but in a nutshell. 1. Initial order not supplied on delivery day because they hadn't got the base. We were told on the day of delivery. 2. Mattress when delivered was shockingly uncomfortable. After 40 days it was checked and the mattress failed. Not enough padding. Seriously if your only job is to make a mattress how can you fail to do that. 3. A replacement mattress has been ordered - delivery has been pushed back again and again. 4. Problems always blamed on the 'manufacturer'... Bensons For Beds owns Staples the manufacturer. 5. Original mattress order 17th September 2022. Current delivery date of replacement mattress... 22nd March. I've been waiting for a comfortable mattress now for 5 months! I still have one more month to wait IF and it's a big if, they don't push back delivery. DO NOT buy from Bensons for Beds

   Fantastic staff - could not have asked for a better welcome to the store, a better intro to their options, or a lower-pressure buying process. That being said, I expected to have more options available for the actual products. While there were dozens, there were some I adored that were not available in other fabrics, finishes, or with particular storage options. Didn't stop us buying a product we really liked with Elizabeth's help!

   No acknowledgement when I went into the shop. Went upstairs for a while to look around. Nothing from the sales assistant. Went downstairs and she was on Tindr or something. Left as she was dismissive and not bothered in the slightest in arguing me. Sat behind the desk the whole time. This was on 26.08.22 16:30
