The staff were very welcoming. The sonographer was very knowledgeable, kind and was able to diagnose bursitis of the knee very quickly. Highly recommend this convenient, affordable and quick diagnosis service.
I honestly had the worst experience at Ultrasound Plus during my early pregnancy scan. It was absolutely awful from start to finish. The place was packed, no seats anywhere, and we waited 45 minutes for our appointment while I was bursting for the loo! When you’re pregnant, that’s the last thing you need. The sonographer clearly didn’t understand IVF pregnancies at all. He pressed so hard on my stomach during the external scan, then did the most painful internal scan I’ve ever had. It genuinely felt like he didn’t care if he hurt me. He said he could only see a sac and yolk, but we could see a flicker ourselves yet he still told us it was “non-viable.” I left that room heartbroken and terrified. They didn’t even give us pictures because they said there was no heartbeat. I just wanted them for reassurance. Then they had the cheek to offer a “free rescan” for £65. Seriously? After that experience, it should’ve been free. I ended up booking another scan somewhere else a few days later and guess what? There was baby and a clear heartbeat! I can’t believe how wrong Ultrasound Plus got it. That scan caused me so much unnecessary stress and anxiety. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone, especially if you’re going through IVF or early pregnancy. They honestly should refund people for the awful treatment they give.
I had a baby scan first my first son and they didn't let me see or choose images or video the video they gave me was just of he's foot, the images were terrible I was rescanned and images were much better. And the staff were wonderful both occasions especially the lady at the desk who was a gem and my sonographer had me hysterically laughing it was a beautiful experience until I saw the video. This time around I've heard they are much better so I bought a groupon ti have a scan, I've spent 8 weeks trying to contact them to book my appointment to no avail, I contacted groupon who contacted the merchant and ultrasound plus told groupon I've already had the scan which I have not, I've now lost my money and my scan they do not respond on the WhatsApp I can't get through on the phone the merchant have lied and groupon have done nothing.
