I donβt know who decided to put ANPR cameras in a local health centre car park but I am almost certain it was a decision made based on greed. My mum visited the health centre just a few weeks before she suddenly and unexpectedly passed away only for us then to be hounded by fine enforcement notices in the weeks after she died. Extremely upsetting and stressful for the whole family.

We are very pleased with the care we receive from Countesthorpe surgery. We moved away briefly to a surgery that was useless when we moved back into Countesthorpeβs catchment area we couldnβt wait to change. Not seen all the doctors but the ones I have seen were good and am very impressed with Dr Hanson who listens and is very helpful. All nurses are good as are reception staff.

Dr sent me to the fracture clinic at LRI for an X-ray. Had to then go through A&E as this was the wrong advice. Hospital said they are fed up with doctors not using the walk in X-ray service. Spent 5 hours at the hospital. Telephoned today as Iβm in a lot of pain and have been sent a telephone appointment for five days time. Had the same poor service when I needed blood pressure tablets. No urgency at the surgery anymore. The surgery has lost some fabulous doctors. Thank goodness for dr Hanson. I thought there was a duty of care. Very poor care.

A doctor from the Countesthorpe Health Centre referred my son for a blood test. The health centre initially booked an appointment for 28/01/2025 at Countesthorpe Health Centre. However, I later received a call informing me that the test should be conducted at another place instead, as Countesthorpe Health Centre does not have the necessary facilities for children. When my husband contacted the suggested clinic, we were informed that a completed referral form was required, which should have been provided by the health centre. After making further calls and an additional visit to the health centre, I was finally able to collect the form. Even though my son had his blood test at the other clinic, after 5 days I received a message confirming an appointment at Countesthorpe health centre. When I visited the health centre to clarify, I was informed that the system still showed an appointment for a blood test, even though my son had already completed his test. I explained the situation, and then I left. However, after returning home, I received another message stating that my son had missed his appointment and reminding me to inform the centre in case of non-attendance in the future. I called again to explain the situation and kindly requested that the appointment be removed from my sonβs records which eventually was removed, without any apology though. This entire experience has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience, requiring significant time and effort to resolve. While I appreciate that staff are under pressure, I believe such administrative oversights could have been avoided with better coordination.

Reception woman thinks she's a qualified doctor, unbelievable bad service, got me addicted to opioid tablets with no plan, Broken every guideline possible, made me cold turkey because I dared to complain, stay away from this surgery they have no empathy for patients

In what is a challenging time for the NHS, I wanted to say that Countesthorpe Health has always been fantastic for me and my family. Lots of same day appointments when needed and knowledgeable and friendly GP's, nurses and office staff. Well done to all!

I find the staff very friendly and helpful. They have other staff besides Doctors and receptionists. Nurses who deal with some health issues and take clinics etc. It is somewhat difficult to get appointments (unless you get up early) but they do have week ahead appointments. If I do not have anything urgent, I write a letter to the doctor expressing my concern and they always get back to me solving my problem or asking to see me face to face. I have always been able to get these appointments easily. I brought my sister-in-law in in an emergency, the receptionists were so kind, made her a temporary registration and she saw a doctor who prescribed tablets which she is still on to-day. She commented how great the staff were and she could see a doctor immediately. She said at her practice they were more unfriendly and she could not see a doctor hence she got so ill.

Absolutely outstanding care attention and advice. From the answering of the telephone to the consultation every member of staff gives 100% Incredible service. Due to multiple issues I have had a great deal of contact with the Doctors, Nurses and Reception Staff and I have never been disappointed. Totally outstanding.

Both my wife and myself have been with this practice since Dr Hofflerβs days. We have always had fantastic service , both with the Doctors and Nurses, and the practice in general. When appointments have been requested the practice receptionists have always tried to accommodate us. I have heard from others ,of terrible times at other Doctors surgeryβs, and we are very grateful of being with Countesthorpe Health Practice. Cannot praise them enough .
