Even though having prior appointment, still had to wait more than 1 hour which is not acceptable especially if it is for kids.
Very Disappointed. On Wednesday morning, I booked an appointment online and received a message informing me that I could select available time slots. When I accessed the booking page, the earliest available appointment was for Monday, which was five days later. I called the surgery to clarify the situation and to request an appointment on the same day, as I was experiencing significant ear and head pain that was affecting my daily functioning. I only required a brief consultation and a prescription for ear drops. The receptionist politely explained that there were no appointments available and that the next one would be in five days. I was informed that I could call NHS 111 or go to the Loughborough Urgent Care Centre, which is approximately around 30 minutes away and often involves a long waiting time. I find this situation very disappointing. The online booking system appears ineffective, and it is concerning that patients in need of prompt medical attention are unable to access timely care.
Great experience this morning speaking to reception. This is most definitely NOT been my experience in recent years, but is was lovely this morning to recieve the excellent service I was previously used to. Thank you.
Rang up at 8am and you had the option of holding or getting a callback. Someone actually answered in under 10 minutes and gave me an appointment without the third degree. All the staff I've seen there so far have been really great. You can book 'normal' appointments for the future too. I've moved from a terrible practice so my expectations are super low but so far, this place is 100% better than my last!
I just want to say a huge thank you and heartfelt graditude to Paris Thompson for going above and beyond for me, I’ve honestly never met a Gp before that’s so knowledgeable, trustworthy, accurate, friendly and caring. Paris prescribed me my medication as an emergency just in time before Christmas when I’d been effected by the Royal Mail strike. What a hero. Nice clean and tidy!! Excellent info provider on counter. Brilliant job working on Sunday! I do recommend it to all my family members,colleagues and friends. Thumbs up to admin!!!!
Good surgery with helpful staff and Doctors. I always get an appointment if I call in at 8am, even if a long hold, understand there's high demand. At times I can't get an appointment I've been advised what I can do instead or supported with out of hours appointment at other centres.
Absolutely awful. My husband who hasn't been to a doctor for 6 years or more rang up today in absolute agony the"so called receptionist " didn't ask his problem or name just said no appointments till 1st November he tried to explain but still only answer no appointments till 1st November. He ended up calling 111 on a call back from a Doctor he was told to see his own doctor ASAP? Explaining he tried to see his own doctor the on call Doctor couldn't apologise enough and said some receptionists think they are Doctors! Unfortunately my Husband ended up in A & E thanks to the receptionist which could have been avoided if she had just "been nice" !
