Today I saw klaudia and Adam. I suffer with my nerves after a break down 3 yrs ago. I visited the practice this evening and was seen by klaudia, she was absolutely marvelous, she then call in Dr Adam Saunt who was also kind and the service I was provided from both was outstanding. Very pleased with County Practice. The reception team are all wonderful (not something I've experienced elsewhere!), and I've always had a good experience with blood tests and doctors appointments. Like all other NHS surgeries they do have a long wait for non-urgent appointments (about 3 weeks) but they will always fit you in for a phone consult if you call with something acute before 10am. They're also trans friendly, helping me with shared care, documentation, and Dr Chidlow especially is very knowledgeable having previously worked in a GIC.
I had an appointment with Nurse Heather Batty and a student nurse at County Practice today and was extremely impressed with the care I received. Heather was kind, professional, and very efficient throughout my visit. She took the time to explain everything clearly, making sure I understood each step and felt comfortable the whole time. It’s reassuring to be cared for by someone so dedicated and compassionate…thank you both, for your excellent and pain free service!
I have just moved to The County Practice and cannot praise everyone enough. Friendly, helpful staff. Straight forward system for booking appointments and no longer need to jump through hoops to get a routine appointment.
Don’t fall for the reviews go elsewhere at all costs!! The worst practice I’ve ever been involved with, a months wait for appointments they don’t check records before sending you for retests of blood tests and then make you wait a month just to tell you the long term medication you’ve been on for years can cause false readings - wasting weeks getting retests instead of finding the issue. A simple check of medical records could have saved so much time. Not only that but then they tested for something else which I had to pay for the prescription for waited another 3 weeks for an appointment to get some answers only for them to tell me they’ve lost my sample anyway. So I have to go through the process again. Again, They could improve efficiency by sending you for a retest ahead of your long awaited appointment so you can actually discuss results and something useful in your appointments.
Breath of fresh air. Nothing is ever too much trouble and everytime I have needed something, they are straight on it and extremely helpful. Best staff of any doctors practice I have been too, hands down.

The more I hear of people’s experiences at other practices, the more I appreciate the County Practice. ALL practices are stretched - but the system for making appointments or asking for a call works well - and every GP I have seen there is personable and as helpful as the nhs situation allows
2nd ultrasound booking was cancelled after receiving a phone call at 16:03 the day prior to the appointment with a voicemail stating the sonographer can't open the clinic until 12:00pm (appointment was 11:15). Tried to return call at 16:05 met with an automated message saying phone lines closed at 16:00. This is the 2nd time it was cancelled in exactly the same manner. Poor service and poor communication. No alternatives given, 9months waiting for a scan which my GP put through as urgent. Absolutely appalled by the service received. (Reviewed on behalf of my wife)
Having moved to Syston earlier in the year I have been impressed with the friendly and welcoming staff, nurses, and doctor's that I have spoken with and been seen by. My encounter today with Dr Mullah (sorry if spelt wrong) has given me some hope as he took the time to read through my history before calling. Thank you for making me feel welcomed as a new patient this year and for being patient with me!
