   Hi everyone,...I've been to Spamedica Leicester for cataract surgery on the 25/11/2024. This is me story: Since I walked into the front door, I was received with profesiolism, the staff at reception was absolute friendly and welcomming. At the time I was called in to start the process, another friendly nurse took me to prepare me for surgery. After waiting for the efects of the eye drops I went into the next room where the surgen saw me and assured me it will be ok. On the theatre the surgen and all the staff were profesional and friendly. The surgen took time to explain the prosedure and started. He also explained throughout the surgery as he went on till completing, I was impressed the the nurses around the table supported me all the way through, spoke to me and we had a slight conversation to take my mind off the surgery. So, all in all my experience was perfect, and I will recomend it to anone that will need such surgery, THANK YOU SO MUCH.

   I had a very pleasant trip here on 28 June 2023. After struggling to get an appointment for my mum in my own city, we were offered an appointment in the Leicester clinic. While the clinic in my own city (Derby) is also great, the staff in Leicester were so wonderful that I wanted to leave them a personal review. All the staff are brilliant. James, Tracey, Urvi, Saffron & Kelly - thank you for providing my mum with such delightful and exceptional service. You guys were absolutely brilliant and we couldn't have had any better service. We were told we could be at the clinic for approximately 3-4 hours however we were done in just 1 hour! Many thanks once again to the team and we shall see you again soon. Thank you.

   I have now had both cataract lenses replaced and what a marvellous thing it has been. The staff were extraordinarily helpful, friendly and efficient. The surgeon was incredibly skilful and the result was beyond any of my expectations. I wish the Governmental NHS would take serious note as to how this organisation works (and operates ) I truly cannot thank Spa-Medica enough for restoring my sight to such a high (eye) level and allowing me to drive again and see all the clouds in the day and stars at night and providing me with a new outlook (sorry, enough puns) on my life.    I recently went to spa medica for cataract surgery. From the start till the end it was great service. Nice welcome from the reception offering tea/ coffee and biscuits & also the theatre staff. Excellent service. I was very nervous but all the staff and surgeon really helped me feel relaxed. Place was very clean and spotless.

   My personal experience is a service that has well surpassed, even my highest expectations …and what a result! I’ve got 20/20 vision in my eye with the new lens, which I haven’t had without glasses since I was 10, some 60 years ago. I’m now waiting, with some excitement, for my other eye to receive the same treatment.

   I was referred by my optician at the end of last year and within 3/4 weeks I had an appointment, having waited a year after a referral to the hospital. I had YAG laser surgery for a cataract that had clouded over. I was advised to get a referral to them for cataract surgery and within a short time span I had an appointment and one day ago I had my cataract surgery. I cannot praise SpaMedica enough. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the facilities are excellent. 24 hours after surgery my eye feels good. Highly recommend this company.
