Pre-arranged a boat trip for clients we work with. No-one showed at the boat. We waited 40 minutes, texting and calling but no response so we had a wasted day as clients were not mobile enough to walk along the canal so a boat trip would have been a treat. Very disappointing service!!

Wonderful Solo Ride on the Saltaire Trip Boat! Excellent Value! I had such a fantastic time on the Saltaire Trip Boat! Even though I arrived and ended up being the only passenger for the trip, the gentleman running the boat was incredibly kind and accommodating and still took me out. That level of dedication and service is truly appreciated! It was a great 30-minute ride, a perfect way to relax and see the area from the water. And at just £5 per person, it’s a really fantastic price for the experience! Highly recommend supporting this lovely local experience!

Went down today with my two children. I didn’t even know it existed until someone mentioned it. £5 per person for an excellent 30 mins peaceful journey along the canal to Shipley and back. Non of that speaking in the background and narrating like others may do. It’s just lovely and silent (apart from my kids of course). Owners absolutely fabulous and really polite. We really enjoyed our self’s and the kids pointing out the geese and the mill along the way. We hope to come back soon. Thank you!

I had a fabulous time in this 30-minute scenic boat trip. I missed it the first time I went to Saltaire but was glad that I tried it on my second time. The couple running things was very personable. Highly recommended!

Absolutely superb trip, great value and Geoff is a credit to the company- friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the history of the area. Thank you!

Tony (the Skipper) is a lovely guy, and gives you some great information on the canal half way through the trip. For the rest of the time, you can just sit and enjoy the views as you cruise peacefully down the canal. It's nice to see things from a different point of view, and is thoroughly enjoyable - as well as a bargain at only £4 each! It's very easy to book over email, which is necessary at the moment due to coronavirus. Tony responded quite late at night for me, and even sent an email the day after hoping that we had a good time and wishing us well! A very nice touch

Our favourite part of a lovely day visiting Saltaire. The man in charge of the boat was really helpful and friendly, giving us a little bit of history of the canal and being very easy-going about us having two labradors with us. The boats are dog-friendly but only have seating for 12 people, so really big dogs wouldn't fit, plus your dog needs to be fairly confident about getting on board or be able to be carried. The trip was about 45 minutes, costing £4 per person, which I thought was decent value. The canal at this point is really healthy and supports wildlife, so we saw a kingfisher, which was a real highlight. They also sell duck food cheaply on board so the kids were happily occupied with that.
