I love the way ABUTU, Omon (Dr) gives you sample tubes but no bag. So then when you bring your samples in you have to embarrass yourself by getting a bag from the receptionist because you have had to use envelopes and look like a crazy person. Thank you Dr Abutu

Iβve only recently moved to Rugby and havenβt had a need for GP/Nurse services for probably over a decade. However, over the last couple of months, Iβve had a few issues that Iβve needed help with. Central Surgery have provided excellent support, have been responsive to getting me appointments in very good time and all of the staff I have seen I have had great interactions with. Firstly, I saw one of the male paramedic practitioners who was welcoming, helpful and got my issue sorted promptly. I then saw Dr Caleyachetty - who again, took the time to listen to my concerns, didnβt dismiss anything (which can be difficult when speaking about female issues) and again - helped me with that specific problem. Yesterday, I saw Dr Armstrong (along with a trainee Dr) and she was kind, helpful, very informative and again - prescribed relevant medications that are already helping. I didnβt feel rushed or pressured at all through the appointment as can sometimes be the case. And finally - I saw Nurse Avril Webb (I hope that was her last name!) today who was exceptional. Going in for female testing is really never a pleasant experience - but when you find a nurse who is as personable, kind, patient and empathetic as she is - the whole process feels so much more bearable β¦ maybe even easy! She explained everything so thoroughly and helpfully that I felt I was in such safe hands. Thank you for some lovely experiences at a bit of a difficult time!

I had months of my symptoms being dismissed as anxiety by several GP's at the practise, I had about 6/7 appointments about this as I was not getting listened to, I continually told them my symptoms are getting worse and it made me develop debilitating health anxiety as I knew something was wrong with me. It wasn't until I almost passed out and felt terrible I went to A & E I was diagnosed with blood clots in both my lungs, my consultant advised all my symptoms lined up with this too. It's been an incredibly scary time and I have lost all trust in the GP's at this practice, this is also not the first or second time the GP has dismissed me to later find out I do have a condition. I don't understand how these mistakes continually happen, I feel like just because they may see anxiety or mental health on my record they always dismiss me.

Iβve been with Central Surgery for 12 years and honestly, Iβm tired of the constant delays. Not once have I been taken in on time β itβs always at least 15/20 minutes late, every single time. Itβs incredibly frustrating, especially for people like me who have children and need to swap shifts with partner (with 1hour gap) just to make it to the appointment. What makes it worse is the waiting room is often almost empty, so whatβs the excuse? It feels like patientsβ time means nothing to them. After all these years, nothing has changed β no improvement, no respect for peopleβs schedules. Iβm really disappointed.

From memory the doctors seemed decent. Just can't remember getting through to see one. The office staff have straight up lied to me over the phone. Even blamed me for the issue when it was clearly there mistake. And when I proved them wrong just passed me off. I genuinely hate having to contact this place. Any recommendations for other Dr's.

Well Dr black absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately let Down by jobs worth receptionists. 2 hours going backwards and forward between chemist and doctors for prescription change. Totally bloody useless. Send doctor an email 2 hours later still hadn't done it. Asked politely if someone could knock on the doctors door and tell him. No sorry he has patients to see. No patients in site. Told nobody available to knock his door. So I did it myself. The doctor sorted it straight away. Amazing how many people were stood in reception telling me I couldn't do that. Anyone of them could have done that. Someone needs a good talking to.

Spend hours trying to get someone to answer the phone. Once answered it clear they don't have enough staff. Very disappointed in this front line service and does not meet community needs. On a plus, when you do get to meet a doctor they are very helpful. Shame the service is being let down by front line staff.

Terrible service. Unable to reorder a prescription I've been on for over a year as there's no apparent record of it. Impossible to get an appointment. Unreliable. I'd rate it lower if possible. Will be looking into changing to another place asap.
