   The Tannery Student Accommodation in Leicester is a spacious student high-rise situated centrally within the city. It boasts an equipped gymnasium and a student relaxation area, and each kitchen is designed to accommodate five students, giving a further sense of privacy. It’s fully staffed at all times. Despite its substantial size, the rooms are ingeniously arranged to ensure students have a sense of privacy. And with Londis supermarket just opposite the entrance, students can shop with ease. Parking though! It parks less than 10 cars at the premises… so cars have to register their business or they get fined! Yikes!

   Response to tannery : this email doesn’t have my real name babe I’ve already tried to express them to you directly, but they haven’t been taken seriously. I lived in C Block, so I’m speaking from first-hand experience. Instead of implying that I’m lying, I think the focus should be on the fact that your accommodation has ongoing safety issues. Everyone who has lived there knows this, and ignoring or dismissing complaints doesn’t change the reality go add some cameras in your halls it could prevent so much x My experience here has been nothing short of frustrating. The constant noise, combined with unresponsive staff, especially at night when no one answers despite security being downstairs, has made the situation unbearable. The long delays for repairs only add to the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the fire alarms go off early in the morning, causing unnecessary disruptions, and we’re often left waiting for everyone to evacuate before they stop—the staff just wait until a crowd forms and let us back in there’s no system in place to check if everyone actually came out. Staff Training have led to delays receiving packages, adding yet another layer of frustration. This place is far from worth the hype. It’s unsafe, with frequent fights and no cameras in the stairwells or corridors. There are also issues with drugs, like weed and empty smart-whip canisters scattered around. The worst incident was when someone brought a knife to a fight. On the rare positive side, it’s a new build, and I haven’t seen any mice, but for £176, it’s definitely not worth the price. If you go university of Leicester and want to come here for a “fun time” or because “everyone is coming here”good luck you’re gonna have to walk 30-45 mins to go to school or waste money on cab everyday besides it’s not fun it’s horrible don’t make the same mistake I did.

In conclusion, I highly recommend The Tannery to any student looking for accommodation near their university. With its convenient location, modern amenities, and vibrant surroundings, it offers the perfect balance between academic pursuits and comfortable living.

   This is a fantastic accommodation. It is modern, unlike other accommodations that don’t really look like the photos. The maintenance team always respond promptly to queries. There is a real sense of community and there is a study area for when exam season gets tough and a common room to socialise with flatmates and friends whenever you are bored.

Dual Occupancy Available for free. 43 weeks contract and 51 weeks contract available. Free 2 weeks move in time might be opted if available. Free Gym is included and available within the premises of property. Paid Laundry service available at the property. £100 security deposit / TDS mandatory. £186 per week for two people in one gold studio if 51 week contract opted. Friendly environment. Amazing service. Totally loved our stay with them.

   Great if you never need to interact with anyone. Everyone on day staff is superficially nice but also vaguely to not-so-vaguely snarky. How quickly any issues are attended to directly correlates with how much the staff dislike you, even in what I would fairly call imperative or even potentially dangerous situations (still, preferable to Unite staff and all the security are really nice). When I needed a room change - by the end quite urgently - there were still multiple delays and regrettable missteps. You cant go to reception and get a parcel, you have to download a spreadsheet, traverse it, check if you have it and then tell them you do. You cant ask them if they can do something, you can't even email, you have to download an app and ask them through that so they can sell your data. Corporate policy thing maybe but still. Also it is a new build but quite a few things have broken or are not provided, the latter to the point of being stingy. Advertised 'cinema room' now non-existent (to be fair, nobody used it) although the hangout area is neat (why the study area is right above it I do not know). The amount/quality of residents' events is over-hyped. Overall most days I don't feel like I'm gonna get shanked and it's perfectly fine to pretty good otherwise in most respects. Also if you book here I recommend block C (a lot of block A faces onto a road which can get loud and block B is segmented from the rest of the building).

   Friendly and welcoming! I booked this accommodation last minute as everywhere else was sold out. At first, I was apprehensive as it’s a new building with no reviews but honestly could not find any faults. The staff are lovely and will go above and beyond to ensure all your needs are met. The rooms are nice with plenty of storage and the overall atmosphere of the building is very warm and welcoming, not to mention the additional social spaces such as the cinema and games room. By far the best student accommodation I’ve stayed in

   From the day I arrived the staff were really welcoming, and made sure I felt settled straight away. The building is also a lot better than majority of accommodations and gives access to a nice game area, study room and a lot more. Residents living here are also easy to get along with. The whole experience living in the tannery is amazing, really made my university experience as a first year.
