   We accidentally booked our hotel for the wrong night and didn’t realise until 3 a.m. — two hours from home and nowhere to go. Gareth absolutely saved us. He went above and beyond to sort everything out on the spot and got us a room for the night without any fuss. Honestly, Gareth is a legend. You don’t meet many people willing to help like that in the middle of the night. Absolute credit to the hotel — thank you, Gareth!

   I can honestly say that this hotel is one of the best Travelodges that I've stayed in. The reception staff friendly and hotel was clean. It even smelt clean! The rooms were nice and comfortable. Thank you.

   Reception was very unprofessional, insisting I hadn't paid when I already had. Then apologised saying it is because there are so many customers. (Its a hotel with 51 rooms) that's what you hope to expect. In my room the water flow in the sink was a dribble and the shower was only just passable. The room otherwise was quiet and comfortable.

   Clean room, friendly staff very willing to help even after we had a very late check in ( midnight). Wheelchair and disabled access rooms were well kept and featured all facilities you'd expect. Would definitely visit again

   A decent basic hotel room, quiet and clean, but the bed was too soft and neither my husband nor I slept well for two nights. However, we were impressed and very grateful to our helpful receptionist, Carol, who went out of her way to help us work out how to get to Cardiff on match day.

   Absolutely brilliant staff, accommodation great. They were so helpful and friendly, we had our cat with us, and they allowed her in our room. After a stressful day with the solicitors and estate agents, we could relax for the night.

   Its a bit run down. The rooms are tired. And we stayed.for.2.days and our room was not.cleaned or tidied on the 1st night. I would use it again. But only because its cheaper than alternative accommodation. Overall the bed was comfy and the shower and room warm. Basic but adequate.

   Great place to stay, in easy reach of amenities, only a short drive to park and walk into Caerphilly. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again

   On arrival the building looked like it could use a good clean. We were met at the reception desk to a very strong smell of BO. The room itself was clean, could have done with more tea and coffee. Was woken the next morning at 5am from the room above, sounded like a heard of elephants! We were then woken up a little later, when the fire alarm went off. Obviously someone can't read and left the door open whilst showering. Overall it was very expensive for just the room, we didn't buy breakfast, instead went across the road to Lidl.
