On my first day at the apartment, I discovered the washing machine was moldy. It ruined my brand-new clothes and bed sheets, and there was no compensation. Even more ridiculous, there was an elderly lady at the reception with a terrible attitude. Many Asians on social media have reported that she is racist. I've already witnessed her being rude to many Asians. She frequently treats us with a critical and lecturing attitude. She constantly interrupts us when we're speaking when we hope to communicate with her politely. Non-native speakers are met with ridicule and sarcasm when they speak to her.

I have lived here for one year. It is a very nice place with very helpful staff, especially Lynn. I first met her on the viewing day, and she helped me find the most suitable type of flat. She has always been extremely supportive and often solves problems before I even notice them. For example, if someone parks in my space, Lynn will contact me right away to check if I know the car and then help to locate the owner and have it moved, often before I even return home. I will never hesitate to recommend Elliots Yard to others who are looking for a place to live!

First of all, if you’re an international student that wants to stay in an apartment I wouldn’t suggest this place for you. Usually the apartments I’ve stayed in, have been very welcoming, with the price set high they’re able to get rid of students that may cause havoc, which is something I’m on board with. However after seeing Elliot’s yards review, and trying to get in touch to get an apartment. The team has been unwelcoming; they make it blatantly obvious that they don’t want any student, doesn’t matter your age, so far you’re a student you’re truly not welcomed.

I’m very disappointed by my experience. The flat I enquired about was listed at £1,130, but I was told I wouldn’t be eligible for that price simply because I’m a student. This kind of blanket policy feels deeply unfair — especially when many students, like myself, are financially responsible and capable of meeting rent requirements. Denying access to more affordable options based solely on student status reinforces harmful stereotypes and contributes to a wider problem of inequality in the housing market. For international students and those from minority backgrounds, it feels even more exclusionary — raising uncomfortable questions about fairness and equity. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that future policies reflect a more inclusive and respectful approach.

The flat was beautiful with really good equipment and furniture. If there were any problems they were always solved ASAP. Its also in an excellent location easy to walk everywhere and the bus stop is nearby so thats perfect. The staff is really kind and funny, its always nice to have a chat with them and they will always help you as much as they can. Loved living here and would recommend it to anyone! In terms of the contracts/ legal stuff they do everything pretty quickly and you don't have to wait much to move in or to get your deposit back after you move out.

Amazing apartments, roomy and full of light. A bit of on expensive side, but the apartment worth it. Extremely welcoming and ready to help reception staff. You don’t have to think to whom call to fix this and that, they always will take care of this sort of problems 24/7. And you can’t deny the view.

My wife and I were living there for 6 months. During this time the management, reception guys were brilliant. They were supportive and handled any issues we faced. This building was always really tidy. I recommend this accomodation for anyone who wants to live and rent a place in Coventry.

I have been living here for the past 2 months now, and everything has been great! The staff are very friendly, and especially Tinta has been very helpful with the entire letting and moving in process. Amazing place to live in Coventry, close to the city centre and Coventry Uni. and also feels very safe all the time.

I came for a viewing and fell in love with the place immediately. Flats are well laid out and well equipped, and surprisingly spacious. Right next to the University, but still very quiet. Ten minutes' walk from the city centre. Similar distance from Far Gosford Street. Three decent restaurants around the corner. Staff are onsite 24/7 and are really helpful and friendly.
