I’ve shopped at Boots for years, but my latest visit to the Northwood branch store has left me utterly fed-up and determined never to return. I went in seeking advice on a specific health product. Three different staff members gave me unhelpful responses. None seemed knowledgeable or willing to assist properly. In the end, I had to pull out my phone and rely on Google for the information I needed—information that trained pharmacy staff should know offhand. To top it off, I purchased the item based on what little guidance I got, only to realize minutes later it wasn’t suitable. I returned within 10 minutes, receipt in hand, product unopened—but was refused a refund. The staff cited “store policy” with no empathy or flexibility, despite the short time elapsed and my clear explanation. This isn’t the first time I’ve left Boots feeling let down, but it will definitely be the last. Poor product knowledge, dismissive attitudes, and rigid refund rules have lost them a long-time customer. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Went into this boots for a refund on unopened medicine iron tablets bought from boots Victoria. Lady told me no refunds on medicine. On boots refund policy it clearly states refunds cannot be given on OPENED medicine, which this is clearly NOT. I bought it an hour before coming for a refund. She didn’t even check and simply said no refunds on medicine. Absolutely terrible service. You want to be a franchise but don’t even know your store policy. Will not be recommending this store to anyone. Very annoyed customer!

On Friday I picked up my order number from here as it was a click and collect order. I opened my parcel upon receiving the parcel I noticed all the items were incorrect i immediately returned the items to the store and explained this to the store manager charitha & she said as the items are incorrect I will have to order replacements even though I said no as I needed the items now.I then said I could of picked up the items in another store then come here to waste my time as i would like a refund, very oddly she said u should have picked it at another store then, why did u come to this store, where are you going. This is very rude & odd behaviour to say to the customer, considering she is the” store manager” anyway she ordered replacements, despite me telling her I did not require them but after waiting for several days I received a email stating that the replacement has been rejected. I then went back to the store telling her this & as soon as I walked into the store she started shouting “ replacements are processed within a few days” I mean I didn’t even get to the till point but she was being really nasty & wanted to argue and basically accuse me of saying it’s my fault that the items are incorrect & she even said well it’s not my fault, I mean I do not know what her problem was as she was fine with other customers, maybe she was jealous or racist, she even rang customer service whilst I was there who even told her to refund me then she reluctantly gave me a refund, with no apologies or acceptance. Please can you learn some basic manners and further into your job training as this is the first time I ever received really bad customer service from A manager at boots, absolutely shocking. I remained quiet throughout this ordeal as I genuinely thought she would refuse any refund or replacement, but I wish I did speak up. What a horrible spiteful manager, shame on you.

Turn up at 10.30am on a Saturday morning on 13/07/24 to collect the medication that I so desperately need and unable to pick it up during the week due to my busy work schedule only to find the pharmacy closed. This is very disappointing. The rest of my Saturday is so busy that now I can't collect my medication. Where is the duty of care?? The website says that the pharmacy opens from 9am, so why is it shut? What's even worse is that I didn't see any sign on the door to say pharmacy is shut or any explanation. I want to know how I can report this closure to the higher authorities?

Nobody answers the phone in the pharmacy for hours. Extremely frustrating!!! This seems like a pattern as I have called the branch to inquire about the prescription on many occasions and nobody picks up the phone.

Awful rude pharmacist Mr Jayesh Shah doesn't know how to deal with Mothers with sick children, don't go in there if you have small children because he will berate you if your child touches anything even if you have walked there with baby in arm from the GP surgery after an emergency appointment and handed him an emergency prescription. Thankfully a stranger came to my defence and told Mr Jayesh Shah "I think you don't need to tell her off the children are fine". Will not be going back to this store after this disrespectful insulting encounter. His colleague Maria has a similar distain of children or customer care.
