   Stayed here via Booking.com. Came for Christmas at Bute Park. The appartment was spacious and well equipped. The concierge where very helpful. 7 minutes walk to the City centre.

   Great residential building in Cardiff with nice concierge staffs. There are four elevators to access all floors. Each floor has roughly 18 flats. There is no gas service in the building but only electricity. Water is included in the service management bill. If you are a tenant, you don’t have to pay water bill. Some of the apartments come with a separate storage cage at 1/F or 2/F. This is really an awesome building in Cardiff even it is already 18 years old.

   Altolusso is a residential skyscraper in Cardiff, Wales. The building is 72 metres (232 ft) high and has 23 floors. The tower was the tallest residential building in Wales upon its completion in 2005, and remains one of the tallest buildings in Cardiff and in Wales. The Y-shaped building contains 292 luxury one to three-bedroom apartments with views across the city. A three-storey car park allocated to the property. Altolusso is located close to The Hayes area of Cardiff city centre, near Cardiff International Arena and Cardiff Queen Street railway station.

   The building Altolusso ("height of luxury" in Italian) retains the Victorian façade of the college (c.1890) for the first 2 floors, forming the 3 storey main foyer with a glass atrium roof. The modern redevelopment has created a number of luxury apartments, on 23 floors, becoming the tallest residential building in Wales upon its completion in 2005. When viewed from above, the design is of a three-blade propeller – a nod to the redeveloped dock area to the south. The under-city canal still flows underneath the south-eastern corner. Facilities The high level of security afforded by the gated access and secure 24 hour concierge make this one of the most secure and comfortable residences within the city centre. Underground parking (on three levels), secure storage units, secure mail room and secure bike hall complement the quality of life enjoyed by residents. Splendid views across the city, and south across Cardiff Bay and Penarth, enhance the experience. Situated in the heart of the city, adjacent to the finest hotels, restaurants and exclusive shops, residents enjoy a modern city experience whilst living less than 20 minutes stroll from Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Central railway station is less than 5 minutes walk, as is the new BBC head quarters, Principality Stadium, and Cardiff Arena.
