Definitely won't rebook for next year. Reception and the Maintenance Team are helpful, though it does take them ages to get to you in urgent repair issues but that's probably cause everyone had problems with their rooms when moving in. Reception takes safeguarding very seriously which is nice. Both rooms I was assigned with wasn't cleaned or checked for repairs beforehand, dust and cobwebs everywhere, serious black mold issues in the bathroom (at least now I know that HG Mold Spray is really effective), depending on your luck you may encounter dead bees and insects next to the open window when moving in... There's holes and cracks in the walls next to the window, the wall baseboard, and the bed board was broken. Because the bed frame is fixed into the ground, you can't actually clean the inside of it which results in a prime spider breeding ground and silverfish and spiders can crawl out from the corners at night (happened twice). My room was so horrid I had to be moved to a new room, which was better but still subpar in its presentation. There is a silverfish infestation, they come from everywhere - the open ceiling lights, the multiple holes in the walls and ceiling, the bed, the kitchen cupboards... I found two in my bed when I was back from visiting home over the weekend... Actually horrid and now I'm paranoid. Some bathrooms don't even have ventilation properly installed, which only furthers this silverfish problem cause of humidity, and me and my friend have complained like two weeks ago with no resolution. This obviously worsens the mold problem in the bathroom, which my friend has been getting sick from. There is also a dead rat problem directly outside the accom, I've seen two since moving here in September lying by the path, and they are HUGE - eating from the trash from the accom I think. The circuit laundry prices are also extortionate, it's like £3.90 for a wash and £2.60 for dryer which is absolutely mad. Basically you're sacrificing comfort, sanity, and cleanliness for cheap and affordable pricing of studios and ensuites. It is close to the Bus Station and two Sainsbury's, I like that. You also get provided a personal vacuum if you're in studio, I think most rooms get one, though my friend didn't so it isn't very consistent. But if most issues are resolved, the regular studio isn't that bad to live in. Small space in the kitchen to cook I find, but it is like £145p/w which is cheaper that other places.

Honestly, Apollo Works has been a solid place to stay. My room’s actually really comfy and feels like a good space to chill or study, which I wasn’t expecting at first. It’s modern enough and the vibe is decent for students. The only thing I’d say is when I first moved in, the room could’ve done with a bit more cleaning before check-in. Nothing major, just little things here and there that made it feel less fresh. But apart from that, it’s been a good experience so far and I’d definitely recommend it to other students.

Apollo Work Building feels like a second home to me as an international student. The place is well organized, modern, and clean, with excellent facilities that make studying and working very comfortable. What really stands out is the people—all the staff are always ready to help, very supportive, and often go the extra mile, while the students are friendly and welcoming. The security is always active, which makes the environment safe and secure. They also organize fun events, such as fruit days, snack days, and chocolate days, which make the experience even more unique. The atmosphere is positive, supportive, and truly inspiring. I’m really glad to be part of this wonderful place!

Excellent Student Accommodation I moved into Apollo Works in January 2024, and I can confidently say it’s been a fantastic experience. The accommodation is perfect for students – affordable, well-maintained, and in a great location. The rooms are modern, clean, and come with everything you need. The shared facilities are also well-kept, and there’s a real sense of community here. I’ve always felt safe and comfortable, and the staff are friendly, responsive, and genuinely helpful. What really stands out is the value for money. It’s hard to find accommodation that combines quality, convenience, and affordability like Apollo Works does. Highly recommend it to any student looking for a reliable and enjoyable place to stay!

Affordable student accommodation with everything you need. Quiet and safe. A little bit far from city center though.

Rude and unhelpful staff. The windows only open an inch at the top also, so it's horrendous if it's hot. If you check out early, it states to leave your key in the box near reception if it is closed. There is no box! The box is IN reception. Whereas, the day before I checked out, the woman in reception advised me to leave the key in my room. Arse and elbow springs to mind. I wasn't given any information on arrival, but only given the information the afternoon before I checked out. Never again. 0/10.

My first 6 months were amazing with everyone met good people made amazing friends, but later on new management came in and they totally destroyed the atmosphere everyone left before we knew. Not just the student but the staff as well. Its sad because this place used to be a heaven for students, but now because of the new team it went from 5 star to 1.

This is the best student accommodation I've been living in so far. What it makes so special is the staff who goes above and beyond to accommodate all of your needs. Always there to help. This is not one of those accomodation where they are just business oriented and professional, they often organise pizza days for us, bingo, play pool table with us and all of that on weekly bases. Never seen it in any other accomodation. First time I am actually happy with what am I paying for. Great price. Amazing location. Up to date furiture, flats are equipped with all you need. Very firendly environment and a place where you make long term friendships. I only regret not living here before!!!!!!

Ideal location 5 minutes from the city centre with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The attention at the reception and by the staff is incredible, with a person 24 hours a day in case of any problem. As for the rooms, they are modern with all the necessities, spotless bathrooms and a good mattress (the best in my last 5 years living away from home). The study area is also very good. It is a top residence in Coventry and well worth the money.
