   We saw a Newport Playgoers production if It's a Wonderful Life. Absolutely brilliant, far better than I'd imagined an amateur production could be. The atmosphere is great too, with everyone seeming to know each other, and volunteers manning everything.

   Thoroughly enjoyed our evening watching "Clue", and we weren't on our own as other first night audience members were applauding as enthusiastically as we were. Newport is fortunate to have The Dolman Theatre which offers an enjoyable theatre experience for various ages and interests. A big well-done to everyone involved in "Clue", on stage, backstage and front of house.

   A lovely and extremely professionally presented venue considering it’s community run. There’s ample parking, a wonderful foyer and bar area and the auditorium is comfortable with all seats having a good view. The program consists of a mixture of mostly amateur with some professional performances, all of which seem to be of excellent quality.
