Wouldn’t let these look after my dog walked in more than enough times my son was left to play on his own in the corner found out was left to eat chorck most of the time needs shutting
I just wanted to update my review to say that I’ve since been made aware a staff member did report my daughter’s incident at the time, but this was initially miscommunicated to us. While the situation was very upsetting, I’m glad to know appropriate action was taken, and I hope lessons have been learned around clearer communication in the future. During my child’s time here, an incident occurred where my child was harmed by a staff member, she was sacked!
As a dad, i trusted kids planet to keep my daughter safe but they failed her. She was assaulted by a member of staff, and the incident was only discovered because CCTV footage was checked for a separate reason. The person who hurt her was sacked but the other staff member that witnessed it never reported it. This has destroyed my confidence in their safeguarding and management. No parent should question whether the child is safe in nursery care.
We've had such a wonderful experience with Kids Planet Wyke —I can't recommend them enough. From the very beginning, the staff have been incredibly welcoming, nurturing, and genuinely invested in our daughter's development. One area where they went above and beyond was supporting us through potty training. This was something we were a little anxious about, but the team handled it with so much patience, encouragement, and consistency. They worked closely with us to make sure we were all following the same routine, and they were always reassuring and positive with our daughter, helping her build confidence and independence. Thanks to their support, she made huge progress in a short time and is now fully potty trained! It’s clear that the staff truly care about each child, and we’ve seen our daughter grow so much since starting there—not just in practical skills, but socially and emotionally too. We feel incredibly lucky to have found such a supportive and caring environment for her. Thank you to everyone at Kids Planet Wyke - you’ve made such a difference in our lives!
Perfect school if u want your child to be brexited
This nursery is outstanding! The rooms are stunning. So much space for the children. All very bright and clean with access to really well done outside play areas. Also lots of space outside. I couldnt ask for a better building and facilities for my child. But also this is a very well run nursery. The manager Kelly is very good. She has a natural afinity with children and my little boy loves her. She went over and above to help him settle in and she resolves all concerns in a very customer centred way. Always beneficial to get annoyed with a company and you will see how good it really is by how it responds to you. This place cares about parents and their children and will work flexibility with parents (a pretty rare quality). All the staff are caring, friendly and professional. It has been very stressful for me to have to work full time with a young child but this nursery has really made me feel my little boy has an excellent life and enjoys his days very much. I am amazed how fabulous this nursery is and yet it seems something of a well kept secret. Too many people putting emphasis on nurseries rated outstanding when in reality they are often anything but. Kids Planet Wyke is definitely outstanding in my opinion.
Not likely to recommend this nursery hard to deal with if you don’t have money your treated differently Kelly the manager is rude and you Can only access certain things if you pay for. Was even got a report of what my son ate for breakfast dinner and tea when he want even there, he would come home in soiled pants and marks they couldn’t explain.
Very happy with the care they give.
My oldest daughter comes here, i can honestly say that without this nursery and all there hard working caring staff, my daughter wouldn't be as forward as she is. Before she started at kinda she was missing her mile stones, was concerned when her speach and interaction skills wasn't coming at right times. Thanks to kelly and all staff here she has come on bounds, couldnt be more thankful or recommend these guys enough. Keep up the good work
