   I visited the cinema to watch the latest Superman film. I'm giving it two stars, because at least the image and sound quality was good, and the seats were very comfortable (hence 2 stars not 1). However the overall experience was pretty disappointing: While I understand it is an older building, it seems like it desperately needs some maintenance work done, as I couldn't believe the strong smell of dump / mould upon entering. It reminded me my first ever flat that I rented in London (smelled exactly the same way, and had serious mould issues). I can still smell it in my nostrils, the next day... Maybe some people who happen to live in mould infested homes, are used to it, and won't be bothered, that however does not apply to me. I don't think I will be visiting this particular cinema again. The other let down was the popcorn, it was not good, it did not taste fresh, it had a rubbery / soft texture and had too much salt. I did not enjoy that popcorn at all, in fact I threw away most of it. It was also a shame, that the kiosk with snacks was closed during the film, so it was impossible to rescue the evening, by buying some other (not popcorn) snacks or drinks.

   An amazing asset for Brecon. I was visiting and decided to watch a film. Friendly staff and amazing facilities, clean and historic. A shame it was very quiet. I hope the locals continue to make use of this cinema as its a great asset to have.

   One of the best old cinemas in south wales Like going back in time buy tickets in foyer and popcorn and 2 old fashioned screens Even got usher with a torch and ice cream after trailers A bit more expensive than a multiplex but a nicer experience and you’re supporting a local business

   Fantastic little local cinema l, super friendly staff, really comfortable seating with an intermission part way through and a fantastic little bar too! It also sells delicious local icecream. Recommend.

   First time we've been. Lovely old 1930s cinema, very atmospheric and old. Lovely staff and well sprung seats, Easy to sit for two or three hours in total comfort. Reasonably priced as well. Looking forward to going again.

   Cute vintage cinema - super small rooms compared to standard size but nice feel. Good choices of films and decent price. Options of popcorn, hot drinks and cold drinks.

   Traditional cinema, reasonably priced. Just the 2 screens. Very few of these traditionally run cinemas are left and they are far better than those massive multi screens and for us very local. Always get to see what you want.
