   Well where do I start? Firstly, the reviews in this forum proves how little (if any) they've improved and they definitely have not bothered to make progress since I left in June 2015. In those four years since, they've had consistent low performance as evidenced by the Ofsted reports, plus stories of stabbings too. When I was there between 2010 and 2015, both teachers and the classmates were shocking (they're all on Love Island now), all they cared about was the uniform and those bacon butties were always raw. Put simply, the only thing to support about this school is if they ever took action to shut down.

   This school is terrible. My child went to this school for two years and did not learn a thing. So I looked up the best schools in Calderdale and guess what was at the top... Rastrick High School so i put my child on the waiting list and she has been there for 2 years now and her grades have gone up by miles! Thank You to the best school ever!!! X XXX

   it is an very good school I go to the school and am in my third year at Hlhs don't worry you don't get lost they do sort bullying out if you get bullied I get along with all teachers including deputy and head teachers so come to HLHS and enjoy the school don't be scared of comeing
