Im an autisic Level 2 creative media student resitting both English and maths. The sen department are amazing and realy kind especialy Sara Bistuctz, i started college without my autisim diagnosis and they were incredibly patient and gave me the support that they could whilst we waited. Now i have my diagnosis theres tonnes more support in place. Because i have many buses to take and if any skips i will be late the college are amazing and are changing my schedule so i can come in a bit later! Now onto the courses. I absolutely love creative media and i like that even when we're working independently that Ruth Martin my tutour often checks in on us. Ruth is a really great tutour too, she understands i struggle with sitting still and that i tend to focus better when im around less people so she lets me work in the study space thats right outside the classroom. My English tutors are also really patient too and sometimes have shared figet toys for the classroom. My maths tutors are also really nice! I have issues where i struggle to stay awake and all my tutors are incredibly patient and understanding. I 100% recommend this college to anyone! And thats without talking about the food!

The structure and quality of the T-Level Digital course are very poor. I would not recommend this course to anyone considering attending the collegc

Withdrew my daughters application four days before she was supposed to start her course, leaving her with nowhere else to go to learn her chosen career. Just another college looking for reputation and awards to make them look good, no interest in a childs future

This collage is amazing for qualification and if you focus you can achieve a lot. Good memories and a good place to build your network with outside agencies, student, and tutors who I still talk to now. I did IT Level one, two, three and now doing a degree level four. They had project work which helped with real life skills. Amazing experience felt like I was in a journey of “The apprentice”. It was fun, it was different and it helped in the real working environment. Learning the agile way. Now in my degree level, let me tell you… stay well away from the apprenticeship side. What a mistake I made, to the way it was marketed to the end experience. I was told that I would join a class full of apprentices, this is important to me as I like to develop my network and meet new people. Sounded “too good to be true” it was. Joined my class and notice there were only two other apprentices. Okay that’s fine not that big of an issue. Later told more would join in the year as they just testing the new apprentice scheme. Okay a bit worrying. After getting settled in it was going brilliant for the first year, everything was professional and respectful had the odd unprofessional staff, but management were quick to sort. A year later, oh god where do I start, all the apprentice IT tutors left and our progress leader during the Christmas holiday. We made contact asking what’s happing and when we are next due. No contact from anyone. We even went into collage and no help. A few weeks later we got contacted and an apology. Finely things were getting better. But then it gets worse… I went into collage as I have a separate maths course. My ID badge doesn’t work? I tell the receptionist this, she tells me to wait only for a member of staff from student services to come and take me to their office. I was then questioned what course I do and who my tutors are and progress leader, I explained my situation and they go “my course does not exist, and they have never had that course in the collage” lucky being in the collage for some time I had some staff vouch for me which then granted me access to a visitor badge. There are many other things that get worse and other things that are brilliant. It is a great collage and staff do work hard. Just need to be more organized and managed well.

Use their hair and beauty salon, it's great. All students supervised so nothing has gone amiss for me. Lovely atmosphere, fab prices. Hubby uses barbering service which is free, yes FREE. Highly recommend

Went to watch grandson play football. Large & free car park at time of visit. Pitches are accessed via main entrance. Small cafe, toilets. Facilities inside were being well used. Outside is a rugby pitch and all-weather football/hockey. Viewing area on a slope though, not great for disabled.

Could not fault the education and experiences I received at this college. I have made life-long friends and have received an education that has opened doors to university and beyond, thanks in due to a teacher who saw my potential and believed in me (thanks, Anne!). The college has some good genuine tutors and my experience here has been good overall. I only had one negative experience here with a tutor, but it's not significant enough to write about. Often it's the students who give the tutors a hard time and then blame the college for their own shortcomings.
