I had about 1000 USD to exchange for GBP, and I was surprised to find that if I had gone elsewhere, I would have received over 100 GBP more. This feels like a rip-off. Additionally, the service wasn't great – there was an uncomfortable feeling, as though they were suspicious of my money. I will never return. Next time, I’ll deposit the money into my account and use excellent online exchange services instead.
Be careful if you make use of their holiday savings account. My partner opened one for my 30th birthday so that people could all put towards a holiday for me. I have called the Syston branch numerous times without the phone being picked up (different days and different times) and not had my email replied to. I went into the Loughborough branch today to see if I could get anywhere and I was told that they weren’t even aware that they offered this service despite that being the branch my partner used to open the account. We persevered and when they finally bothered to search their system for my name they found the account but apparently cannot tell me how much is in there, which staff member opened it or how I can now get this money out. I imagine if I had gone in asking to add to the balance this wouldn’t have been a problem at all. Needless to say, I DEFINITELY will be taking this money out as soon as possible and would never ever use them to book a holiday after this experience. Don’t sell a product and then not tell your staff that it exists and how to use it. Awful service. Fingers crossed I get my birthday money back so that I can book a holiday myself!

Friendly staff do quick purchase of currency at better rates than useless local post office - who refused anyway
Great service. They sorted out a tailor made trip to China which went without a single glitch. Amazing service and highly recommend (especially ad they're much cheaper than other travel agents)
Beat all internet prices on a all inclusive holiday to Mauritius, staff especially Jenny are helpful and should you have any problems they are on the case immediately. We had several requests at our resort and all were fulfilled will certainly be booking my next holiday with millington brilliant travel agent
