Danielle provided us with the most incredible vaction that I or my wife have experienced. Each stop on our 14 day trip was thoughtfully planned and executed with precision. We went on an 11 day private tour of England on May 20-31. Danielle Litton planned this trip for us from start to finish and the entire trip came off beautifully. Sept 2023 travelled to the UK on a 25 day customized trip designed by Luke at Adeo Travel. We travelled completely by rail and stayed in 9 hotels, all of which were great properties in excellent locations.
When we were thinking of a trip it only seemed logical to engage a UK travel company as we were Canadians and wanted local guidance. We read up on Adeo and decided they had the rail experience we were looking for - great decision on our part.
They were happy to spend time with us on calls and answered all our questions. A complete package with vouchers for hotels, the train and a variety of tours was sent to us well in advance. Luke even sent sample train schedules.
A few glitches with delayed trains and a small hotel issue when we popped over to Paris for two nights, but it was resolved. I would certainly do it again and would recommend Adeo without hesitation.

Thank you, Luke, Daryl, and all the staff for making our holiday dream, come true. From start to finish, you were the best. Words cannot say enough. We love the special touches that were provided at each leg of the journey. Your attention to detail did not go unnoticed. We felt we were safe, and in good hands, no matter what the hour. Our journey up the west coast of Scotland from Edinburgh, to Fort William to Skye. and finally Pitlochry. Each location had a special charm. The hotels were wonderful. The staff great, the food delicious. Our tour of Sky was unbelievable. How such a beauty can be crammed in one small space is beyond belief. Our only wish was that we had more time in Sky and were able to have made the journey to Oban. However, never say never, we will return! The train was an absolute delight, and very easy to navigate once you got in the rhythm. The BritRail Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Always cheerful and ready to assist. A little advice when you’re in the smaller locations. If needed book in advance a taxi ride to, and from at the same time you make a Supper reservation. Cabs are few and are in high demand. Don’t worry about reserving a seat on the train unless you’re travelling at peak times. Then you will have to reserve a seat at the station the day before departure. Although we did not get to the outer Hebrides, you can book a ferry ride from the isle of Skye. Custom make it a part of your trip in Sky or take the train further North. Luke and Darryl at Adeo travel are wonderful. We just returned from our trip touring the Highlights of Britain. We were a group of six and spent six days in London before our tour started. Luke made sure we had everything we needed and booked us at the Wellington Orchid Hotel which was fabulous and close to Victoria station. Our tour of the UK with Back Roads Tour was equally amazing. Jeremy our tour guide and Steve our bus driver were a great team. We had great hotels everywhere and the food was amazing. I have used Adeo Travel to help me plan two vacations. Darryl Walters has done an amazing job of fulfilling my requests and his recommendations for lodgings has been on target. I wanted a bed and breakfast in Cardiff within walking distance of the main city and the B&B he recommended couldn't have been nicer. He also made all my pre-tour and post-tour arrangements for rail transportation and the connections were perfectly timed. He also went out of his way to find the most affordable rail transportation for me. Since my first trip was such a wonderful experience I have now used them to plan a second trip.
