The staff at Withers have such vast tennis knowledge and playing experience; their in-store racket selection is excellent, as is their product and technical racket stringing knowledge. If you need a proper professional sports shop and not a leisure equipment supplier, Withers Sports in Leicester is the place to go.    Fantastic experience at Withers. We travelled from Rugby to visit the store on Saturday afternoon and found the staff incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. With a wide range of brands, frames and strings available, there was so much to choose from and the staff asked very considered questions to get to the root of what we needed. They recommended options within our budget and answered our many questions about racquets, strings and tennis players! Thanks for your help - we’ll be returning in the future!

   The best tennis racket shop I've been to, absolutely amazing. They've got an extensive range of rackets to demo and the staff were brilliant when I was looking for a new racket. They're all very knowledgeable and helpful, recommending a couple for me to try. Once I'd chosen my racket, they were able to help me with the best strings and tension. Would thoroughly recommend. Update (Sep 2024): I bought up another racket and a tennis bag from Withers. Big thank you to James for painstakingly matching the weight, balance and swing weight of my previous racket to the new one and for the advice on a hybrid string setup. As usual, the customer service and knowledge of the staff is second to none.

   My previous cheaper tennis rackets I’ve bought from other stores kept having similar problems where they would eventually snap at the frame. Having decided to commit to a more expensive better quality tennis racket, i visited Withers here in town centre. James was very helpful in explaining that the new head racket purchased is made if full graphite and therefore is more durable and longer lasting hopefully. I was pleased with the visit and recommend the store to anyone looking for better quality tennis products

   Good recommendations on rackets and tennis bags. Tried really hard to find me a good deal. Pre-ordered a racket and the communication has been great, to keep me updated on the whereabouts of the racket. I have had rackets re-strung. And the quality and timely service at good rates. Strongly recommend these shops and James is brilliant

   I went to get rackets restrung. They were helpful in choosing the correct strings; however, they were also helpful at emptying my wallet. £26 for strings is silly. They're actually cheaper in London lol
