My experience with Evans Cycles was completely different from some of the reviews I had read. I first bought a bike I struggled to handle, but Mitch went out of his way to help me. He guided me toward a 2025 electric bike that suits me perfectly and even assisted me with Frasers Plus financing. I’m really happy with the bike and the support I received. I’ll definitely return to get a bicycle for my son. Thanks, Mitch.
walked in at opening was served by Mitch who was very helpful and expertly worked around my tight budget landing at a fairly cheap bike for £199, He helpfuly offered payment plans and a lock for the bike. The bike was tuned up by Jan before it was handed off to me the whole process only took about 15-20 mins and the bike rides very well. 10/10 would come again
Visited the store recently, as i am disabled i went to use the escalator, only to see it was taped off and broken, so i went to use the lift also broken. I had to struggle down the stairs into the store, i was looking for a new bike plus other parts but no staff was around to ask for assistance. This store has really gone down hill, staff used to be helpful engaging, the stock is pitiful, we left empty handed, and will never be going back
I was surprised by the excellent and professional customer service provided by Anthony when I was purchasing a new road bike. He recommended a selection of bikes that would suit my needs and then assisted me in choosing accessories such as lights and pedals. He held the bike for me for multiple days before once again providing amazing service when I purchased the bike. Extremely professional and attentive
During a shopping trip in the city centre the tire on our baby pram popped out. We were with a baby and a toddler so this was very stressful. We went down to evans to see if anything could be done to repair the problem. The 2 lads who were working there were absolutely fantastic. They were very friendly and informative. Even though they don't deal with prams, one of the lads repaired our pram tire. Absolute legends. I can't remember their names but both lads were great. 10/10 on customer service. Once again thank you lads.
The best bike shop i have been to in Leicester, the Team are really helpful and you get valuable advice based on your needs. In addition very fast service m. Mr Antony the assistant manager solved the issue in minutes. Thanks Evans Cycles.
Great service today at Evans Cycles Leicester. Fow (don’t know if that’s the correct name) helped me with my bike seat today. He made me feel very relaxed and also offered professional advice. I was very impressed.
Super happy with the service we recieved today. Called beforehand to check stock etc. Spoke to Tom who was really friendly from start to finish, he managed to check all possible stock, advise us and clearly explain the difference between each bike. The intention was to spent around £300 per bike, we bought 2 plus helmets and spending £400 more than we intended to, this was down to the level of Information provided to us, Tom was super helpful and would highly reccomend being served by him. All the staff are great when visiting the branch, unfortunately there was a long wait to be served due to the shortage of staff, however it's much better service and range than other retailers within Leicester.
