   I’ve been using Dudley Taylor Pharmacy at Abbey Medical Centre for the last 18 months and have always found them to be friendly, professional and courteous. I’ve always ordered my prescriptions online and have found them to again be very efficient in this process. Today Friday 11th April 2025 I was passing and in the off chance popped in to see if my repeat proscription I’d ordered online only the night before , too my delight it was ready. This was particularly pleasing as I’d not realised I’d run out of one of my prescriptions and needed it urgently. A great little pharmacy with great staff. Thank you.

   I came here at around noon to pick up a prescription. There was no queue when I entered but there was one when I left more than 5 minutes later without being attended. I counted 7(!) people behind the counter, each one completely ignoring us. If there are some rules that prevent every one of the 7 staff from attending customers, then at least acknowledge them with a "I'll be with you shortly" or so. This was so ridiculous that I'll move to get the prescription from an online pharmacy.

   Staff are always helpful. If my prescription isn't ready they'll give me a time to call back. This is a busy pharmacy, but they have never let me down in the many years I have been going there.

   Usually have a good experience, but marred today by an extremely rude an impatient older lady behind the counter who eye rolled at me twice as I was trying to get my words out before barking at me ‘NAME’! Insisted they didn’t have the prescription and had to go back to docs. 30 mins later doc says they were definitely sent it. I feel so sorry for those working there who are so lovely and try their hardest. The level of customer service I experienced today from this individual was diabolical. She needs further training at the very least.

   I had left a prescription with them to fill on the 13/09/2022 to date they have not filled it. It is a critical medication for an epileptic person. This isn’t the first time and I know it won’t be the last. They currently have a prescription with them which was sent to them on the 13/12/2022. I chased them multiple times and they have only filled the prescription today over 4 days later. Terrible service and they never answer their phone.

   Lynn French is brilliant. Always makes time to talk to you and is very good and knowledge. Tresa however is awful. 6 times she asked if I wanted my medication and threatened to send it back because my prescription was changed by my GP. I literally got down on my knees and begged for my painkillers. She then open up the boxes on the front counter to count them.

   The repeat dispensing service, which requires agreement with the doctor, and is renewed annually works very well.Their workload is enormous, so whilst negative comments reflect some realities, patents can help by giving plenty of time for collection.I have been in their situation ; it is not fun!    I have never had problems with this pharmacy, lovely staff and even when theyre busy they still make time for me. After 6 or 7yrs here I give them a break when they're behind, they do their best and they don't control what stock they have in. Very kind, helpful,caring staff. Thank you xx
