Nighat was great as my solicitor in my property purchase. I was kept informed of all developments and appreciated Nighat's clear thinking and advice on tricky issues. I would definitely recommend her and the Wilfrids Law. I just want to say a big thank you for the great support throughout our property purchase. Nighat was responsive, and always on top of everything – even when things got complicated. Communication was excellent, and we always felt confident knowing she was handling the legal side. Would definitely recommend working with them.

Wilfirds Law nailed my house purchase which wasn't a simple case. It was an Iamsold auction and I had my deposit in a LISA. They guided me through it all and they were never the ones holding back the progression of the purchase. I would especially like to praise Suhail Aamir Nawaz who was my assigned solicitor. He went above and beyond to make sure the house purchase completes within the strict deadline, even when there were complications. It was a big rush towards the end and he handled it with ease. Big thanks! I would highly recommend this firm.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my experience using Wilfred Law on two separate occasions. On the first occasion, I was instructed to pay a £300 deposit. The matter was closed shortly after, and I never heard back. I chose not to chase the refund at the time, assuming some minimal work had been done (such as opening a file), despite no clear outcome or communication. The second matter progressed as far as the day before completion. However, the deal collapsed due to your team requesting crucial third-party documents at the very last moment — documents that should have been identified and requested far earlier in the process. Given that I called office a day before to confirm whether any additional documents were needed. I was told — and I quote — “no bro, I’ve got everything we need, and Insha Allah your matter will be completed in a couple of days.” Based on this assurance, I was fully prepared for completion. However, given last second document request wasn’t submitted, the transaction failed and I lost the opportunity to purchase a property that was significantly below market value. The financial loss I suffered exceeds £35,000. Now, a year later, I have received a debt recovery notice demanding £1,078 for this matter — a situation that was mishandled by your firm. I consider this demand unjustified given the level of service provided and the serious financial consequences I suffered as a direct result of your firm’s mismanagement. While I may choose to pay this under protest to avoid further harassment, I do not accept these charges as fair or ethical. I also reserve the right to share my experience publicly in a factual and respectful manner, so others are aware of the issues I encountered. And while I seek justice in this world, I believe that ultimate justice lies with Allah — and I will seek that too on the Day of Judgment, Insha’Allah.

A family member had recommended Wilfrids Law to me to deal with my house purchase. I had a really positive experience with Wilfrids Law. I highly recommend this firm to others when looking for a conveyance solicitor. A special thank you to Waqar, Suhail and Umair who all looked after me and made the process hassle-free from start to finish

I used Wilfred's law for my purchase and dealt with Waqar and his team. They were fantastic and got the job done, great value for money and I would definitely use them again. For a first time buyer they were great in keeping me informed and relaxed and always I always felt they were looking out for me

We just sold and bought a house using this company. In short, we got where we wanted to be - our house was sold, we bought our onward purchase and moved, all on the same day, so, they did their job, they crossed the Ts and dotted the Is. The longer version is that we felt they were very uncommunicative in the last month leading up to the completion date and didn't answer queries (by email or call back to phone enquiries) about the process or the completion date for example. This was really stressful at a stressful time. Their fees were competitive and they got the job done, but I'd probably choose another firm if I were to do it again (which hopefully, may be never!).

I would like to say this is by far one of the most competent law firms in Bradford. I used Wilfrids to purchase a house. I would like to give a massive thank you to Samira, who remained professional at all times and ensured we remained on trajectory for completion. Thank you Wilfrids Law!

I used Wilfrids law primarliy due to the good Google reviews. There was no mortgage involved with the purchase so I instructed Wilfrids with the hope of a swift process but I found myself doing nothing but chasing up. In the end, I did most of the work myself, similar to what a previous reviewer stated. I was sent numerous disclaimers for things which stated that Wilfirds Law had explained something to me and I could choose to go against their advice by signing the disclaimer, however in reality, nothing was ever explained to me. I received no advice on anything through the process. Nothing, literally nothing, was explained to me when things were happening or at the enquiry stage, at best I was forwarded the email. I always thought the conveyencers at this stage would look at the enquiries, ask how I feel about the response, suggest what else could be asked or provide their advice on the response received. Essentially the team who deal with the files daily are admins(possibly unqualified), not a solicitor as you would expect. Maybe in the past it was the case that Waqar(solicitor) dealt with cases himself and therefore was able to provide the advice and explain things, but as of now, that is not how they work. Infact the ONLY time I ever understood things, received any advice or had something explained to me, was when I was unsure myself and had to get through mulitple people to get a hold of Waqar. Several times i'd be chased for something that I had already emailed across or posted well before the chase up. It was generally a poor experience and this is my review without going into the Anti Money Laundering checks which were the most frustrating and time consuming, however as these checks were understandable I have not included that in the review. Wilfrids will eventually get the job done for a reasonable price, if you chase them enough and are prepared to do your own conveyencing along the way but it is NOT a firm I would recommend IF you are looking for someone to look after and manage your house purchase stress-free. Post completion, I sent a couple of emails, no response after a week. Clearly I no longer matter as they have their money.

We purchased our house and were recommended by a close friend to use wilfrids law. Waqar was very precise with everything and made the process really smooth. Highly recommended and very professional and efficient service

Waqar and his team have been a great help. Smoothly completed my property purchase and couldn’t ask for a more co-operative, VERY responsive, friendly team. They make sure you are valued with importance from start to finish. Great work guys hope to have many more dealings in the future.
