I have used Tesco pharmacy at Harlech Park twice. Top service, polite helpful smiling and meds ready by the time I have finished shopping! What a difference to Asda who are rude, under staffed and waiting days for .eds. Well done Tesco!
Great opening hours, 8 am to 8 pm and on weekends as well with a large parking space and wheelchair access makes this pharmacy ideal for families, disabled people, working people, people who work shifts and even people who don't have cars or personal transport. As the store is a big favourite with Newport City folk they can hand in their prescriptions whilst they do their shopping and come and collect their medicines afterwards. I have used them for getting my medicines issued as well. Despite being under a lot of pressure due to their popularity and central location the staff always strive to be helpful and understanding when serving customers. I hope they will carry on doing the good work for a long time. Best wishes to them.
The staff seem over worked but I've only seen patients being treated with respect and that does not go both ways. Behaviour breeds behaviour. If you can see they are busy give them some respect. My medication has always been accurate and if I go off and shop its ready when I return.
Using this pharmacy will make you ill. I have never known any service provider to lack in all areas. Absolute no idea how to run this place efficiently. Customers are treated with disrespect as they work under pressure. You got to put up with them and they don’t put up with customers with range of health issues. WoW!!
Poor service, I was told my batch prescription would be ordered for me as this is quicker and more convenient to then go and collect a few days later for them to tell me they don't order from my surgery..so why tell me this in the first place and blamed this on a Locum when in fact it was one of the girls who I see there in Tesco uniform. Always waiting over 25/30 mins for prescriptions to then be told it will be an additional 5 more minutes. Collecting my prescriptions and going else where.
I must say that a 1 star is still to high a rating for this pharmacy. I presented a prescription and was told there was a 30 min wait so not a problem. I returned After the 30 minutes to collect to be told that there was no prescription even though it was the same lady I gave it to. After a lot of serching she found it and told me there was no stock and to call back the following day. My wife went to collect and was waiting over 30 mins to be told that there was 1 item not available. My wife explained that that this was a joke. We have travelled about 16 miles round trip to collect. I can assure you that we will never use this pharmacy again. It is so lacking in all Areas it is a nightmare.
