I went to The Loft with friends on Saturday. After complaining, politely but assertively, to the bar staff that they were serving everyone around me but not me (later confirmed by the manager) while having to fend off some random young fella that refused to mind his own business, a security guard ended up catapulting me across the busy dancefloor which left me on my back. I was then escorted outside by a very nice security guard and his very nice boss After the nice security guard checked me over to make sure that I didn't have any damage to the back of my head, the manager offered me some advice and assured me that he would speak with the bar staff and to the thug. He also said he would watch the CCTV and would let me know the outcome of his investigation. Just by chance, I walked past him smornin and he stopped me to let me know that he had done what he said he was going to do and that he had taken appropriate action, which I am pleased with. So, in a world where people (especially us Brits) are quick enough to complain (often publicly) but are rarely as quick to praise or thank people, I would like to thank the manager of The Loft in Weston for taking the time to speak with me after the event, for doing what he said he was going to do and for taking the appropriate action against someone that clearly needs to work on his people skills. I'd also like to thank the nice security guard that didn't, potentially, let me go home with a serious head injury, especially as people can and do die from a single head injury.

Came here for a night out. Went down to electric banana as we’re not a fan of upstairs music, more into the rock/punk type. 1 woman working alone! (Doing an amazing job might I add) bar full of people waiting and only a single person working which isn’t fair on the bar lady at all! Then we manage to find a table which is full of cups and bottles all stacked up to high heavens then some bloke comes and screams at us basically calling us stupid for “stacking too high” when we haven’t drank that much as well as we’re drinking out of bottles. If he bothered to look at what we’re drinking we are drinking out of bottles not cups (which were stacked) which just made himself look stupid for screaming at innocent people trying to enjoy a night out on holiday.

Rory & Bo were absolutely fantastic- we had a beautiful night and it was all because of them. They were both lovely and charming, and they both deserve more money. Thank you so much!

Horrible staff! Staff are rude and violent. I was being well behave but the doorman manhandled me out for nothing and when I reported it to the police but the cctv footage was obsolete. I also reported a spiking incident but the staff was not interested. Very dangerous place. Please do not go.

I don't live in Weston but I do visit and I love coming to the loft. As a fan of rock, metal and the like, it's always a great night out in their downstairs bar. Love it here!

Paid £20 entry and then told to leave by the manager 10 minutes later with no valid reason, would not recommend coming here, very rude staff, I tried to remain being polite even after how rude the manager was after taking my money, Worst place to go in the town unless you fancy chucking your money down the drain!!!

Bully boy doorman who don’t know a disability from a social drunk person who hasn’t even had one drink! Wouldn’t even step in this place. £5 to now get into the place when others you don’t have to pay to get in.

Large club with 2 bars, a big dancefloor and a fair bit of table seating. Typical nightclub music and feel and drinks at an average price. VIP options particularly good for parties and groups.

Up a flight of stairs past a pay desk and cloakroom you walk into a wide and long space with high ceilings going right up to the roof everything is smartly decorated and spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and fast atmosphere amazing. Definitely worth a visit if your passing through
