This taxi company is appalling I was told they was reliable but ive been using them f 6 months and my taxi has never come on time I always book in advance and still the taxi is always late making me late for further jobs. There's no compensation and just get fobbed off this company should be ashamed
Order a taxi to Leeds Bradford airport and one on return never turned up on return 9/12/2025 rang them said it was on its way they never sent it they had to then despatch one from Eccles hill stood outside freezing for 45mins second time this as happened won’t be using again
Driver couldn’t handle the suitcase because he has injury in his finger, he hesitated saying that the car is small for the bags but under my pressure he accepted to try loading them however i went to the office to make sure they send a big car to fit the bags
Really bad clart on phone!! I always give shout out but do not ring this taxi if you want a safe ride home. And if extra special you need a woman to understand i, feel safe . Please DO NOT RING THIS HERB aspecially do nohis taxi
It was a pleasant journey home from Asda with my shopping. The car arrived at the time specified and the driver was very polite and helpful. I will most definitely use Local Cars again.

Rang up to book a taxi as I'm a carer I don't know the address of by heart so I needed to get address up and the person on the phone was so rude I asked him to wait a second so I could get it up and he put the phone down disgusting attitude aswell

Cost me £450. Missed train due to wrong car sent so ended up late for a train and had to buy a 2nd ticket also lost my days wage due to not being on time.. happy xmas... great driver but let down by the company.
I would avoid this company from now on having used them a number of times before. The track your taxi link they send is very good and I could see the taxi getting closer as it made it's way to the airport. Unfortunately, the driver of car 25 (Wasim) tried to charge an extra £5 on top of the fixed price quoted by the office for a pick up from Leeds/Bradford airport when even the pay online option was showing as £30. He tried to claimed the £5 pick up/drop off charge at the airport was not included in the fixed fee when it always had been previously. He got quite rude, abrupt and argumentative and this spoilt the end to what had been a good holiday. In the end I had to phone the office to confirm, they confirmed it was £30 as quoted. If you do intend to use Area Cars avoid car 25.
