Ive been using Idleways for the past 26 years since I was a 14 year old girl. I've always felt safe with them. I got married and had kids so hadn't got a taxi in years but I did tonight and I saw Ash again. I just wanted to thank him for the years of looking out for me and protecting me since I was a young girl. Thank you xxx
Truly awful service. Driver refused card payment, dragged me to four cash machines, wouldn’t accept bank transfer, and made me worry about missing my flight. Gave them another chance on my return and they never showed - waited over an hour and a half. Rude and totally unreliable. Do not recommend.
0 star rating following appalling service on Friday 31st October. I’ve used Kellys for a couple of years and never had bad service, however on 31st October we were left waiting for over an hour when a 7 seater taxi was booked for 4:30. Kellys repeatedly lied about how long the wait was for another taxi and didn’t have the common sense to send two taxi’s when they knew a 7 seater wouldn’t be avalible for an hour. I will not be using them again. Update 11/11/25: I sent an email to Kelly’s following their reply to this review and have yet to receive a response following my email complaint.
Taxis were great when it was Kelly’s now it’s local they are never on time even though I book them daily for the school run. I constantly have to ring to ask what’s going on and I had one cancelled for no reason. It’s not really ok when I have. Two children and I’m stressing every morning about it. I don’t like how you can get assigned a driver then suddenly you haven’t again either.
Used Kelly's many times for transfer to LBA with no issues and friendly drivers. On this occasion we booked for 8 adults and 3 kids with accompanying luggage and expected appropriate transport (a minibus and car). Minibus arrived 30 minutes early and started accusing that we had booked it for that time. He moaned about not having enough space for suitcases and was very rude. He said he wasn't going to wait and threatened to drive off. The car didn't arrive and was only dispatched after calling up to check there was one coming. The car driver was slightly more pleasant but still appeared baffled about the suitcases. Won't be using again, a very unpleasant start to a family holiday. We've always recommended to other family members but will no longer, there's plenty of other companies who would be happy for the business. EDIT: In reply to the owners response. My feedback, I believe, is very detailed. How much more detail do you need? Good manners and politeness costs nothing, but will cost you customers. You will know who was on those jobs that morning and they need a lesson in customer service.
Good taxis just need more drivers waiting about for 15 20 mins everytime we ring waiting over 30 mins today for one 19 Dec made me late for appointments now had to re book after Christmas
Arrive, good driver, good price. Will use again.
Excellent service. Drivers are very polite and the cars are very clean and well maintained.
I booked my taxi using their app and it was very easy. My taxi arrived promptly and the driver was polite and friendly.
