Rang a taxi requested a mini bus as there was 6 of us, i was told 10 mins. 50 minutes later a normal car turned up. I was told that i could stand and wait in the rain or another car. Meaning i would be charged double. The taxi driving or the call handler was very rude and did not care! Not professional or acceotable behaviour.
Driver was extremely polite, and vey nice Journey Unfortunately wasn’t told about the extra charge for Apple Pay or wouldn’t have booked it
Horrible service , ordered a taxi at 7:40 and my taxi didn’t arrive until 8:20 when I start work at 8:30. Could potentially lose my job because of this terrible service don’t anyone use wrose taxi
Would not recommend! Booked a taxi to the airport and they never showed up. Had emailed the week before to double check it was all confirmed and it was. Yet come 4am I was stuck trying to get someone else to drop me off. Bad start to the holiday. If I could give 0 stars I would.
Taxi arrived fairly quick , but was shown 23 pound for the from the airport to my house it only cost cost me 12 pound to get there initally using an uber , when we arrived i paid him with a 20 and 10 pound note he gave me five change and just that's OK isn't it ! I was just that tired and didn't say anything but to just expect not to give me my full change is a bit cheeky and disrespectful
Absolutely disgusting service, very rude. I wouldn’t even give them the star if I could. Got a taxi which was late. Was on the way to A&E with my baby who was not well at all. I realised I did not have enough cash on me on the way which I shared with the driver. I said I can make a bank transfer or even drop it off once I get home. He dropped me off half way to the hospital in the rain with my poorly baby and took the money. No humanity whatsoever!! Never ever using this service again. All they care about is the money. Used them for many years in past and this is what I got in return. I would of been better off not mentioning anything about not having enough cash, and waiting till I got to the hospital but I was honest which was my sin.
I have been a customer of Wrose Village taxis for a number of years,and I’ve never had a complaint against them ever! Because of the pandemic,myself and my friends have not needed a taxi,in recent times. Saturday 22nd May,was the first time we needed to use them,as my friends and I were out enjoying a lon awaited night out! I rang Wrose at approximately Midnight,the taxi arrived within about 10 minutes,unfortunately it was an eight seater,we do prefer not to use a big taxi,as my sister has problems with her legs and we both have difficulty getting into a big taxi,I told the driver about this,and he said he would help us in and out of the taxi,and I’ve got to say he went above and beyond to help us,he was so polite and caring.he dropped us at our 3 separate destinations and he made certain we were all safe,he waited for my sister to get into her house safely! To say he took good care of us is an understatement,he couldn’t have taken better care of us,had we been his own family! I think it was car 19,he picked us up at East Ward and I was the last drop,Sutton Avenue.I would be grateful if you passed a very sincere thank you to the young man,his family must be so proud of him! He’s polite,helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him! Thank you so much and well done Wrose Taxis for employing him! I must add that Wrose Taxis have always given myself and my friends a great service for years,long may you thrive! Thank you —-Margaret
Got in taxi and he asked for money up front which is fine. I asked how much and he said around £15. I asked what?! He asked well how much did it cost to get here. I told him £8.90 and he asked which rank, when I told him his response was yeah...they are cheaper than us. After I told him I only had £10 he said ....ok I'll do it for £10 then proceeded to remove meter from dashboard. He told me they always asked for money up front when on long journeys which I'm fine with but what if it was less? When I downloaded the app it told me it would be around £9.70 Now...my problem is not that I paid £10 or that it was up front. My problem is that he tried asking for £15 then removed meter from the dashboard. Never felt more uncomfortable in my life. The ONLY reason i have given 2 stars is because he was honest about me leaving something on the seat...maybe he wouldn't had he known it was my purse and ecig. Sorry but I will not be using again
