   We have just used Brearleys for conveyancing working with Kath for a sale that should have been straighforward given there was no chain involved & we knew the seller. Whilst we started the process at the beginning of Sept, we didn't complete till mid Dec. I was a first time buyer - my partner wasn't. Once Brearley's had received our details from the mortgage broker, there wasn't any customer service from them/nobody got in touch to talk us through the process - we were just sent emails with links to their portal to upload documents & how to pay etc. We were paying for a service but wern't made to feel a part of the process and I regularly had to ask for updates to find out what was going on. Would we use Brearleys again? Probably not.

   We recently used Brearleys for our conveyancing and I would absolutely use them again if ever in need. I would definitely recommend them. Original price was fair, and we don’t have any hidden extras through the process. Our sale and purchase was a long, drawn out and frustrating process. To be honest, at the start I was getting a little frustrated chasing details from our original conveyancer. But a few months ago our account was transferred to Emma, and since then things were near enough perfect from our end. Emma was responsive and transparent. We never found ourselves feeling like we were chasing for answers. There was a genuine level of care and investment in our case. Thank you Emma and team for getting us over the line!

   I had an extremely positive experience with Chloe Ansley as my conveyancer at Brearleys. I engaged her services for a leasehold property purchase, which went very smoothly. It took 5 months, however, this was not due to any delays on her side (Hackney council was the main culpret for holding things up). What I really liked about Chloe, was that she would always get back to you when she said she would. Also, if she couldn't give you an answer on somethingt straight away, she would email me to say 'I have noted your email. I will come back to you on this tomorrow'. She would always know where things were at with my case - I never felt like she was so over worked, that I always had to remind her who I was or where we were in the process (which I have experienced with other solicitors in the past). She was competent and quick and I would use her again!
