Very happy with Ziggy's, more than I can say for Huddersfield taxis, whome the original booking was with. I had pre-ordered a ride the day before, and received a message from them at the time the taxi was due, that they had cancelled my booking. No mention that they had passed it on to a different provider or that the fare would be different.
Reliable taxi company with kind and knowledgeable drivers. Never had any issues and have used A1 Ziggy for years now. Occasionally have had a driver cancel, but another has always been found promptly.
I ordered my A1 taxi at short notice due to the horrendous weather and it arrived within 10mins. The driver was really polite and we had a good chat on the way. He also made a great effort to drop me right outside the venue due to the heavy rain, which was very much appreciated. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely use A1 taxis again.
Ordered car just 10 minutes before needed. Company got the car to me, found the car easily, driver was friendly, they allowed me to pay with a credit card, and got to my destination in good time. Also a reasonable price. Would certainly recommend.
Our bus went straight passed us tonight, "so we phoned A1 taxie and what a brilliant taxi service the gentleman who brought us home was patient and understanding.
2/11/22 Absolutely disgusted. Shameful service to elderly people. Will never use again. Taxi was called to M & S, Woolshops, Hx to take my elderly, & infirm parents, & an aunt, home to Savile Park. They are not in good health, or mobile, & had heavy bags. After waiting in the cold for a long period of time the taxi arrived. Large, sullen male driver remained sitting in vehicle & watched them struggle with their bags. (Aunt also has a broken arm). He didn't speak at all & they couldn't get an answer as to whether or not he knew where they lived. He was so incredibly uncommunicative, rude & ignorant that they decided not to go with him & left the taxi. Absolutely disgusted. Shameful. Will never use again.
Nasty arrogant guy behind the desk shouted and sweated at myself. Owes money for services provided at his property. Civil court action is now being taken against this horrible Nast man. Never use these taxis they are terrible with a nasty attitude.
I used this service with my 7 month old baby around 2pm in the afternoon. The taxi driver was practically falling asleep at the wheel. Which is incredibly dangerous especially at some of the roundabouts. Literally barely keeping his eyes open. Please, if you are a taxi driver and youre tired park up and go to bed!!! Never ever get behind the wheel tired. It's terrifying for your customers. I don't know what shifts the drivers do but please, don't ever send out tired drivers again. If their overworking pay them more or get more staff. I was going to not say anything. However, I wouldn't forgive myself something happened due to unrested drivers.
