A1 taxi drivers are averagely rude. I have used them for over 3 years. I have contained their rude remarks over the years and I have come to the conclusion that they should be the last option any one should choose from. They even tried to bully me into dropping my child's number where I have refused and told them I prefer to remain the line of communication between the taxi and my child I just took a look at Uber and realized my fee would have been £1.64 for a trip A1 charged £4. Switch to Uber everyone its safer and better. A1 taxi has no loyalty to thier customers There are also better taxi companies in huddersfield write off A1 taxis immediately
I was horrible to the taxi because it's my mums birthday she died, he was so professional and came back for me as was the operator- they didn't need to be but I realised I was wrong they got me home safe despite me, I paid above and beyond because he deserved it, I apologised over and over and he was lovely but he didn't deserve my attitude at all- no excuse i just missed my mum and Took it out on them, they were wonderful and I'd recommend every time I will never Bahai's like that again im ashamed im lucky they gave me a second chance xxx thank u a1
£3.70 before pulling off showed on this person's clock, I stopped the taxi and got out before my journey ended, this fare usually is £4.80 user charges the same he wanted £6.80 when I got out and had to walk the 1.5 mile to get ho.e, THESE TACIS ARE RIPPING PEOPLE OFF BE WARNED.

I have used A1 several times, and the drivers are always on time. They transport to your destination safely and on time, very reliable!!
Can be hit and miss. Most drivers are fantastic and during the working week, the company has been excellent every time. Pre booking taxis for work is a good experience. The weekend, however, averages from ok to poor, with regards to dispatchers and drivers. 20-minute wait for a taxi in the town centre in the middle of the day is taking the mick honestly. Just tell me you dont have a car nearby so I can try somewhere else.

Was threatened by a fully grown man, who got agressive when I told him I had to cash to pay with. After being assured on the phone drivers have machines. 7 minute journey also took 20 solely due to the driver going so slowly, to which his excuse was “well I had to wait for you” I took 3 minutes to put shoes and coat on after call he had arrived. Company not bothered, hung up on me when I called, while he was following me around getting in my face.
