Perfect service today, first time I've visited the store. Very knowledgeable lady helped me to choose the right running trainers. Plus we got to meet their very friendly dog.
Absolutely brilliant experience. I’m definitely not built like a runner, much more of a rugby player and alongside having flat feet I’ve always struggled with serious knee pain from other running shoes. The ladies in this shop are incredible. They’re very knowledgeable and very patient. After my gait analysis they took half an hour with me to find the right shoes. Nothing was too much trouble. After a few runs, the shoes were giving me pain for a couple of weeks, so I went back a bit worried. They reassured me it was normal and that my gait needed time to adjust. They were right and I’ve just completed the Great North Run completely pain-free. Couldn’t be happier and the shoes are great. Oh, and apparently I look like Chris Hemsworth. Incredible service here a little while ago. The ladies spent ages with me making sure I had the right shoes as I was training for my first 10k, Leicester's Race for Life. Their care and consideration really mattered, and the right shoes made all the difference to my training. Wearing these, I can't believe I ever wore shoes that fit less well! They made me promise to come back and tell them how my event went - I haven't had time to make the trek over, so I hope they see that it went great!
Bought a new pair of running shoes this morning to replace a previous pair I bought from here years ago. I forgot to ask the lady's name that works there, but she was so knowledgeable and so patient. We did the Gait analysis and tried on several shoes and she was incredibly patient while I deliberated over which shoe to buy (as both of her suggestions were great to run in). Looking forward to giving my new pink trainers a go - thank you!
The ladies in this store are extremely knowledgeable and really helpful and friendly. They have a great range of shoes and apparel. Reasonably priced. And they do the GAIT analysis for £20. If you buy shoes from there within 4 weeks of your analysis they take that £20 off the price of your shoes.

Happened across this little gem of a running shop whilst on a random visit to Loughborough. Incredibly helpful and knowledgable team and despite my many questions - very patient! If I visit the town again - I will go back.

I've had previous positive experience with these guys so had prepared myself to pay a bit more for a decent pair of running shoes. I went on the treadmill and was "assessed". They recommended certain shoes. I paid £117. I then got covid so didn't run in them until a few months later. Every time I've been out in them they've made my feet numb and incredibly uncomfortable. I spoke to some podiatrists and orthotics about this issue and they recommended I call the shop and try to exchange them. Sadly, when I called and explained the situation I was laughed at and told that ideally I shouldve returned them before getting covid... Im now stuck with a £117 pair of trainers I can't run in and a very sour taste in my mouth. Sadly I won't be returning or recommending to friends and family.
This place is wonderful. I'm not a sporty young thing anymore. Not like most of the Loughborough fit students but I needed a pair of trainers that were the right fit for my aging feet for a busy city break. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff here. I was in the shop a long time, trying on lots and lots of different shoes. So be prepared to wait and (make sure your topped up on parking) and you will receive the best customer service and the best shoes for your gait. We eventually found a pair. The result was a fantastic weekend with absolutely no aching or swollen and painful joints at the end of it. Many many thanks Running Fox. You always give 130% which is why I don't buy trainers anywhere else.
