Attempted to seek information about a course I was considering attending. Received two emails back telling me to refer back to the website, even though I was asking direct questions that were not answered on the website . Would not recommend and I will not be applying

I have never experienced such poor service from a college before. For the past 5 days I have been trying to contact Coventry College admissions for information about a course. Believe it or not, nobody ever answers the phone. Each time I’ve tried calling reception, I just get a different excuse and still no actual help. I even left messages, but nobody has bothered to get back to me. Honestly, it makes me wonder if anyone is actually working there. This level of unprofessionalism is shocking for an educational institution. Very lazy staff and zero effort to support potential students. A truly disappointing experience – I would never recommend dealing with Coventry College.

The college is pretty good. I do Level 3 Business here, and they’re quite accommodating and have amazing teachers. One thing that really needs changing, however, is their ID rule. If you forget your ID, you have to go all the way home to get it and come back, or you have to pay £5 to get into college. It’s not motivating and feels unappreciative toward students who genuinely want to learn and care about their education. Meanwhile, students who don’t really want to attend get an easy excuse not to go in. I understand that the rule is important, but some students have memory difficulties or struggle with remembering things and managing their time. The rule just doesn’t make sense — if they want to teach you accountability, they could have seminars or other consequences instead of completely revoking a day of your education. It’s an uncommon problem, but incredibly inconvenient and inconsiderate.

Absolutely awful. Attended a few years ago. They labelled me as dangerous because I was being bullied and has severe anxiety. A handful of the lectures were amazing however they all left due to the incompetence of the college as a whole. I failed my maths exams due to them ignoring my exam conditions which was on my file. I had a lecturer tell me she was going to shoot me with a gun and made fun of my dog who passed away.

Coventry college has been a really good experience for me. I do level 3 business, I had previously done my first year at another college, I feared that I would have to start over since I moved but Coventry college took me in for me second year, letting me continue and finish my qualification. The teachers were nothing but supportive and sweet, they really helped me settle in and push me to do my best work. Along with my course I was able to do other things during college, like student ambassador and marketing executive, something that has helped me go onto university. The college really cares about the student voice and I can say with confidence that me and my friends will remember my experience here forever.

I did an access course here at the age of 20, which I was very nervous about. I had Heidi, Idris and Mark as my teachers, and I couldn’t have asked for better support or learning. I had a great time here, and it resulted in me getting into university. I can’t thank them enough :)

Shambles of a collage, no support from tutors to support students 17 ( with autism) to progress on the next level, contact switch board to confirm place for 2nd year they stated my brother hasn’t filled out a progression form and it’s too late, isn’t that what tutors help 17 year old with especially ones with learning disabilities, lady on switch board abrupt and rude putting the owness on my brother rather than the running on the collage, - poor quality of courses, bad management, unstaffed, 6 different tutors in one year. Lack of resources And support for young people. - to get onto the first year it was by telephone appointment which the collage missed twice so he missed getting onto the course he wanted. Henley collage closing has impacted young peoples education as Coventry collage is poorly managed and has an influx of students that tutors cant support or guide as tutors leave a find better opportunities so students miss out on opportunities.

Absolutely disgraceful college. Didnt care about my health or mental health. Teachers don't care about anything and brush all problems off and sweep it under the carpet like it was nothing. Dirty college with rubbish all over the floor. Bad management and teachers make student behave just because ofsted is coming. The teachers cannot even sort a time table properly for the students. Teachers cannot do anything properly and super.unprofessional. Being a past student here this college is the worst college for any student.
