I had all the qualifications and references however had to endure an awful interview by Dr David coyle who decided to tell me in metaphors I was too old and this was the university of second chances? I requested my application information back so I could quickly re apply and not received anything back slowing my career progress. Avoid the nursing school and go to a traditional University instead.

Payments are ridiculous, pushing NatWest PayIt payments on to student as a faster way to receive payments when itβs complete an utter lie, they take longer than bank payments, at a 5/7 day processing time to receive a single email with a link. It takes 3 days to receive a bacs payment into your bank. You are liars and are providing student with false information and this is also false advertisement. After reasearch I have found itβs a cheaper method off payment not a faster method off payment, itβs faster when you receive but it takes a week to receive that link Back logs for weeks, from a university that teaches business management yet canβt get their own business managed correctly. Study material is basic and Iβve found questions asked in assignments to be incorrect also.

Be careful joining the Open University. When graduation comes they do not have enough spaces for the day. Very disappointed with the lack of care for students who have put so much into courses to be left with very poor communication and not able to go to a graduation. Very Very Poor.

nice university the staff are friendly and helpful. the day schools were accessable and informative. the tutors had time for me. the work was made interesting. we had a say in how the modules ran the students were friendly in my groups. the work was 6 assignments per module and it was very fun to work out. there are times when i did see something new in the work. and it was insightful there were student days and a happy helpful advisor on the phone. i did complex consideration with some of these modules. the questions were interesting. the staff were accomodating. there are good people working here and i never had a problem or argument with the other students. we had a nice time it may not be the best but i think i had some thoughts too they are nice and all my modules taught me something.

Incompetent recruitement staff. They don't even distinguish between primary and secondary. Avoid at all cost. Wasted so much time applying to them until I secured a place at the TechFirst programme in England. The Open University is pushing talented graduates to move from Wales to England.

There is a nearly constant electronic whine in some of the rooms. Nearly constant, stopping for half a second occasionally just to remind you it isn't in your brain. Awful place to learn
