Characterful university campus, plenty of parking and a great team of academics and professional services people looking after students.
The University of South Wales Nursing Department has been a very disappointing experience. Support for students is poor, especially for part-time learners. Communication is confusing, feedback is inconsistent, and some tutors cancel sessions without notice. The rules around assessments and graduation are unfair and don’t treat all students the same. I raised concerns, but was not listened to properly. Unfortunately, this aply to all from Certificate level, Bachelor's and Master's degrees, as confirmed from multiple conversations with colleagues and friends. This department needs serious improvement.
The Glyntaf Upper Campus is the highlight area when visiting this site. The building looks superb with a great view of the valley. The facilities here are also very good with a computer room and areas to study.
