Shahid is a great teacher and dancer and his passion for salsa is so obvious. We highly recommend his classes which are great fun. We started from a very low base but we can now dance salsa thanks to his teaching methods & patience. We urge you to go along and see for yourself and you won't be disappointed. We have made so many friends along the way. A special mention to Angeliki who comes to the Monday class. She is an amazing dancer & she is also passionate about salsa and her styling is second to none. Thanks to you both. Sue & Steve

I had such an amazing evening at Salsa Buena last week! I'm a complete newbie, and not very coordinated at the best of times... Everyone was so welcoming and helpful, even though many of the people there were much more experiences than me. By the end of the class, it started to flow so much more naturally - I can't wait to come back and keep learning!

First time in a salsa class. It was great atmosphere and the instructor shahid ensured the newbies were included from the very beginning. All the class members were very friendly and encouraging. It was surprising how much I learned in one lesson! Will definitely be returning next week!

I attended my first session at The Philharmonic recently and absolutely loved it! The room was full of both beginners and experienced dancers, which created such a welcoming atmosphere. I stayed until the end for the bachata session, which was a lot of fun. Shahid, the tutor, was incredibly accommodating and engaging. When I was struggling to follow along as a beginner, he suggested I swap places with a more experienced dancer so I would have a better view and an easier time keeping up. That extra effort really made a difference. I can’t wait to go back!

I went to my first salsa class in Cardiff on Thursday. I’d been trying to get up my courage to go for months and I’m really glad I finally went. It was satisfying to learn some dance steps but more than that I enjoyed how informal it was and full of people all enjoying dancing together. The other people there were very encouraging and I really look forward to going again. I have already booked for next week

I attended a monday class as a beginner… loved it. I came to visit my dad, as he lives here, and I’m from Manchester. He’s been taking part in classes for a few weeks now and I could see how much he enjoys them so while down here thought I’d pop along to the class with him. I have a dance background but not in salsa. The way the class is broken down to the basics steps for extreme starters is brilliant. So if you’ve never danced before do not worry, the only thing you need to know is how to count to 8. I highly recommend. If I live here I’d be there every week! Amazing. Fun. Social. Don’t hesitate, go to salsa!

I went to this class last night as a beginner. Have to say it was brilliant. Everyone was so friendly and the instructor gave clear instructions that were easy to follow. It didn’t matter if you had a partner or not. There was time after the class to get to know people have a practice at salsa. Really enjoyable evening. Thank you
