Passed my driving test first time with the help of Stuart. All of my lessons were so helpful where I was taught how to properly drive, not just how to pass my test. If I ever made a mistake or got something wrong during lesson I wasn’t ever made to feel bad, he would just help me to correct it for next time. Lessons were always really enjoyable.
Stuart is an excellent instructor and I would recommend him to anyone. He is knowledgeable, highly skilled and an overall great teacher. His clear explanations meant that I always felt that I understood the goal of the lesson as well as any mistakes I had made and how to (hopefully) not repeat them in the future. Stuart was always calm despite some of the situations I put him in and I always felt supported. Again I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Stuart is a legend. He always taught with compassion, support and left no room for judgement whatsoever. I felt comfortable every time I drove with him and I am certain that I wouldn’t have passed with zero faults if it wasn’t for his support not only in guaranteeing test success but also in making sure that I can actually drive long term. Although Stuart did not make it as a rockstar, he did make it as an excellent driving instructor. He's great at making you feel at ease as he has a relaxing and encouraging manner - which makes a huge difference when under the pressure of learning to drive (or avoid catastrophic driving incidents). He also prepares you well for driving independently after the test, whereas other instructors have been known to rush the basics leaving people with a dreadful feeling of unpreparedness after obtaining their licence. This is something that Stuart completely avoids, ensuring you are a safe, independent driver before you're sent out into the Road Gauntlet we face in the Uk. All in all: 10/10 would learn to drive with this man again if I suffered some kind of memory loss and forgot how to drive
Learning to drive with Stuart has been such a great experience. He’s really calm, friendly and makes you feel comfortable straight away. I never felt judged when I made mistakes. He always explained things clearly and gave me the confidence to keep improving. Stuart made learning to drive so much less stressful than I expected and I’m so glad I had him as my instructor.
