WTC badly managed how the academic results were released this year for level 3 motorsport. Such a shame after all the hard work. WTC failed to share results promptly and left the students wondering if they had passed or failed August 2025. Previous year, WTC made an effort to celebrate success but failed to celebrate or even notify this year

WCG's Trident campus is an excellent venue for FE, HE and Apprentice engineers.

Some of the teachers Don’t know how to teach and don’t know what they’re teaching. all the teachers do Is read of PowerPoints And pretend they’ve taught people stuff . Going to this college feels like a chore.

My 4 Year Apprenticeship programme is now a year overdue due to college going silent, with lots of outstanding work of mine yet to be marked and is nowhere near completion. Myself and Colleagues are also struggling to attain our Level 3 Advanced Diploma results/certificates that we worked 2 years for at Distinction grade. The College claims to teach engineering principles, however clearly doesnt seek to continiually improve, or get anything done in time. I would highly suggest to find another college that cares about the education, livelihood and wellbeing of students that work hard.

If you want your apprentices to struggle then this is the college for you!!!! If I knew my apprenticeship would lead me to this college with the knowledge I know about it now, I would have declined the offer! Stop bringing on more students when you don't have enough staff to help get your apprentices through their course on time.

Best two years of my life, there were some questionable teaching techniques but overall it was down the student to get the grades. The only thing I found particularly frustrating was the shocking marking system which led to endless re-subs, but overall we had a lot of fun and there was a fairly chill attitude towards learning which I really enjoyed and I now have have a good apprenticeship. I did have to re do the the whole lot from level 2 due to it being a BTEC. And I was then going onto do NVQ. (Not compatible) so technically lost 2 years but it did open doors for me as it shows you are committed and interested in engineering. If you are bright enough and are likeable you can go straight into NVQ and I would recommend not going to WCG all together. Make sure you at least get MMM grade if you do go to WCG And smash the year 2 project. Employers loved mine. I did nothing in the first year and then pushed the limits in the second to achieve the grades. Got DMM. Far better than Leam college and co op is down the road which is good for lunch. Overall the college did what was intended and I would go there again but some of the staff do need get a little better on delivery of subjects and not be such difficult markers. But would recommend this over uni route.

Big airy college, lovely building, if you want to go to college, there are few better buildings to do it in.

Very poor higher education experience, teachers not engaging and lead by awful management. Workshops (further education) is better with more engaging teachers. Very high staff turnover.

A brilliant facility that really can offer many different choices to young people. Worthy of an award for design this is an inspirational place. Loads of parking available
