Absolutely terrible company. I moved house and called up to be told they won’t cover my new address in the same city. Told me they were going to outright cancel my policy in 7 days even though I was still registered at the address. Told me they would keep my insurance active but if I had an accident they wouldn’t pay out all for the simple reason I was moving later in The month. During this time they were happy to take another months payment out of my bank and I’ve just called to end my policy today to be told they were taking off the £75 fee to cancel but still going to charge me another £108 for cancelling even though it’s them forcing me to cancel. I have been with vavista for over a year never made a claim never had any issues and always been honest about my circumstances. It’s literally Christmas next week I’ve had to pay two months worth of car insurance one to vavista one to the new insurer and now £108 in fees. When I’m a single mum with 3 kids and my youngest birthday is a few days after Christmas. Absolutely thieving disgraceful company. Would never ever recommend. Thankfully my new insurance I’m fully comp can drive other cars and it’s cheaper than vavistas 3rd party money robbing policies. No help no sympathy and no rewards for being a valued customer.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. Absolutely avoid this insurance. If you want to cancel the policy and your documents states £75 cancellation fee be prepared to pay over £300 because of some random charges they find and wont tell you the charges until you pay them. Manger has 0 respect for the customers and doesn’t bother to solve the issue is lost in the process herself. Dont get me started on the workers there, they are rude and doesn’t understand a single thing you tell them ignores everything you say and continues on repeating themselves like a broken record and taking you for an absolute idiot not a customer. Avoid at all costs!

Worst company to deal with. Wouldn't recommend at all. I cancelled my key cover policy.They accepted it. Guess what, they continued charging my on my monthly direct debits and would refuse to revise stating that I have surpassed 14 days. If that's the case, why accept to cancel the add on. They were selling a service I am not signed up for. I have since cancelled my policy with them as I have realised they are not as professional. Guess what, i have received a outstanding bill of over double the monthly insurance yet I had also recently made a payment (£82) on the 10th of November only cancelling the policy a day or so after. Their cancellation fee is £75, tell me where the rest is coming from and what happened to the £82? Theyve also randomly put up my premiums a few months ago stating that it was because they didn't send the information to their credit lender, yet on the call we spoke about the change of my vehicle and calculated the addiotnal cost, only for them to change their mind in the next month's. With this company you'll continue questioning all these charges that were not clear at sign up.

The worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. On two occasions they failed to correctly update my policy which left me under insured. On one occasion it resulted in me prosecuted by the police due to their error. Aside from that their manor on the phone is far from profession. I have now submitted two complaints and fully intend to report them to the financial ombudsman. Stay away!!

I have been with this company not long, I had thought of changing vehicles, I continuously rang as I was advised to by online portal, I was hung up on when needed help, I believe the staff were quite rude on the phone and weren’t helping me when needed, charging fees for the slightest change to the policy. Although they had waived a cancellation fee of £75.00 there was still charges and extreme change in monthly price. I do not recommend, please think before you sign any agreements.

Although I have been with Vavista for the 2nd Consecutive year, Never had any issues to contact them and ask for help and now that I need their help, any amendments that I need to make everytime even for the smallest, which most of the time cannot be done through their web portal. You need to call them instead and get things done and also pay £50 every single time, Even to update the private plate details. Did not expect this from the company. I do not recommend this Company to anyone as they are just an agency who than forward your insurance policy to other 3rd party companies. Also not to forget majority of the staff have a habit of raising their voices while discussing certain issues and if asked to explain they instead have no answer so please choose your Insurance Company wisely.

This company is nothing but a scam!!! I regret not looking into the reviews before signing the agreement. I am a Bulgarian national and when signing the agreement I selected that I use the car for social and domestic use inly. I had a minor accident and they washed their hands saying I wasn’t insured to go from work to the shops, even though I had comprehensive cover. Third party damages and injuries should be covered. I keep getting mixed responses from Vavista, when I put a complaint through they tried scaring me off saying I committed an offence because in their eyes I was deemed to have been driving without insurance. When I spoke to my case handler he said I did have insurance and this is not the case. Why are third party damages and injuries not covered then? Complete waste of your time and money this company. DO NOT USE THEM!! Save yourself a hssle.

I got a new job which gave me a company car to use excluding perosonal usage. I phoned up vavista to make the ammendments and I also added my pass plus certificate onto my premium. When checking quotes online I was getting a lot lower prices than what I am currently paying... When discussing this with the agent on the phone and making my ammendments, instead of my policy going down as I am using my car less and have the additional driving course added onto it, the policy went upwards instead. I was told I could cancel the policy and redo a new one however that will have a seperate charge of £220 to do so. So now I am stuck paying more money for a car I use a lot less which makes absaloutely no sense to me what so ever. the agent was 0 help and from her tone of voice I could tell she didnt really care or offer me much advice or even help with this matter. I would not recommend this insurance company to anybody, they just want your money and have 0 care when it comes to dealing with their customers. I even told the agent on the phone I was going to leave negative reviews of the company online, and she shrugged it off, so they clearly do not care for the company they work for neither. if I could give them part of the 1 star I gave them I would!!!
