   Really hard work. It's a good job I was with purple brick which gave me the ability to speak to the seller of the property because the solicitors were telling me they hadn't received documents when the seller had sent them 4 months before

   I used LDJ to sell a property to an investor. There was no chain and no removals involved. As far as I am aware the only thing that might make this a more complex transaction was that it was a lease hold property. I found communication to be slow throughout, despite me making it clear I wanted the sale to complete quickly. It regularly took 2 weeks to get a response and at one point when I could not get a reply by email or to telephone calls, I had to resort to using the "contact us" button on their web page to get some sort of reply. The whole transaction took 5 months to complete, during which time the buyer withdrew and I had to drop the price to keep the sale from falling through. After completion I raised a formal complaint, this was not responded to in the time frame set out in their complaints policy and I had to chase them to reply to me. My complaint was not uphelp and I took it to the second stage of their complaints policy for a review. This was not even acknowledged and again I had to chase for a responses. In both cases they found that the service I had received was not unduly slow and within timeframes they considered acceptable. Frankly I don't!

   Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy, slow and costly in a short summary. Any feedback given is saw as criticism or being argumentative and not taken on board, constant errors with paperwork through out the service. Was told one timeframe, when this changed was not informed and given excuses and no apologies. Unless you want a big whole in your pocket and a ton of stress, really not worth your time.
