   Wasn't sure what to expect, this was our first visit to a Straightliners event. We were quite surprised how down to earth the event was. There was a handful of dedicated petrol heads, all trying to improve their times over a ? distance. It wasn't Santa Pod by any stretch of the imagination but serious effort being put in by all. We stayed for an hour or so then left to acquire lunch. Would we attend another Straightliners event, probably, but maybe not in the emediate future

   Attended the 22nd Feb event in York. Extremely poor organisation. Queued for 30 mins to get in, couldn't get to the drag strip to see anything, only a few vendors their. Publicity said food from a variety of vendors.... There was 2 burger vans there... For what seemed like a thousand people. Publicised guy Martin was headlining but turned out he was just going to pop in on one of the days. No idea which though. Waste of time and money.
