Booked taxi yesterday to take me to LGHospital for appointment, did not show at pick up time, when I phone them was told he was 8 mins from my location, 15 mins later still hadn't showed so missed my appointment time

Booked taxi to take us to pick up a holiday coach so timing was critical, car arrived in good time and price was very fair. Can thoroughly recommend.
Used Direct Cabs as we were staying at a hotel in Broughton Astley and needed to get to a pub in the same village for a family celebration. We ordered the taxi for 6.30, by 6.40 I phoned to ask where the taxi was as it was late and was told very curtly, it’s on its way. By 6.50 and still no taxi, I rang again and the phone was put down on me! I rang back four times and no answer. Eventually a taxi turned up, we complained to the driver that we were late for a family do and he said it’s not my fault, I don’t know why I had to do this pick up as I live 8 miles away, they have other drivers nearer. Needless to say we cancelled the return taxi with them.
