Used yellow cabs before & have always been happy with the service, that’s why we decided to book them for NYE & they did not disappoint. Excellent service & was on time both ways, also keep you updated with text messages. I would highly recommend
Very kind and helpful drivers - going far beyond the call of duty. The app is very useful in staying alert to the whereabouts of the car. One thing - please check before sending out the enormous tank-like vehicle with the tiny flight of steps - not all customers will be aware of it, and not all customers will be able to board it!! Excellent value for money.
Received notification that driver was on the way to pick me up. Taxi arrived on time. Driver polite and friendly. Arrived at my destination on time. I have used Yellow Cabs for years now and have never had a problem.
We booked a taxi hours in advance for a 6:30 pm pick up. It was important to get to our location on time. At 6:35 pm we rang and asked how long it would be and were told 10-15 mins. At 6:50 pm we rang back again and were told another 10 minutes...At the point we cancelled it and called an Uber. The service was very poor and could have been forgiven if they'd have rang a pre-warned us which they didn't do. Absolute shambles !
Booked in advance for an EMA pickup. I rang the day before we were due to fly out of UK to double check that our taxi would be there when we arrived back & specifically asked whether we'd be waiting any length of time. Was informed by a guy that all we had to do was call them when at the baggage collection & the taxi would be there on time. Called them as instructed, spoke to a very rude female who asked if we actually had our bags & said " I tell you what, call back when you have your bags and hung up. This was at 1.53pm. Collected our luggage literally 2 minutes later, called them back at 1.56pm. Told taxi on its way & wouldn't be long. It was absolutely throwing it down. Waited, no show, so rang them again at 2.09pm & told the taxi was on it's way. Called them again at 2.33pm, 2.34pm, 2.38pm and told the taxi was there - No it wasn't! The female on the phone argued it was. By this time, we were soaked to the skin & freezing cold wondering if we’d now be left stranded. From the time of our initial call to the taxi eventually arriving after 50 -55 minutes I would bet the driver hadn't been told to leave for the airport until after we'd confirmed the baggage had been collected. To add insult, the driver insisted he had been waiting for us - where because he wasn’t at the place where people have to wait for pickups so no excuse. He also argued that he'd left in time but wouldn’t tell us what time he’d left. Just kept repeating that he’d done nothing wrong. Told him we have a record of our calls as proof and that it looked like he was put in the firing line by the rude person on the phone and or incompetent staff. No way does this cab operator understand what good service is & I'm surprised they have customers with their attitude and blatant lies. To top it off, the the driver automatically rounded up the fare so charging us more than quoted. I stood my ground on this, paid the quoted price, tutted when he had to go back to his car for my change. I told him always tip but that he’d lost out on our tip due to the experience from the office. Never ever again will I book this unprofessional outfit !!!!!! The only tip I would give is DON’T EVER BOOK WITH THEM.
For a 5 minute journey £15 (paid cash) Went to book return journey 2 hours later as other taxi services weren't available and we were quoted £18 (we asked why it had increased) and had to pay by card over the phone? How this dinosaur company is still in business is beyond me, avoid at all costs!
Absolutely appalling service. Have a school contract, very rarely on time, chasing the taxi at least twice a week. Had to chase up this morning, to get shouted at by the man on the phone. Supposedly taxi was clearing a job then coming at 8.15 taxi never turned up leaving child not able to get to school. Not acceptable when offering a public service.
Ordered a taxi, lady on the phone polie, said she will send a car out now it will be a couple of mins, it was there within 3mins, top service, highly recommend them Dropped me at the shell garage on Bardon Road Coalville thank you xx
I ordered a taxi for new year two/three weeks in advance and they cancelled on the night. Leaving us 6 miles from home and charging double the price quoted for an advance booking. The cheek. Never using again.
Went to awedding here. Was lovely, but it's a bit of a mix between old and new. The old port is great and feels old and regal. The new part is a little travel lodge. Make sure you know where you're staying.
