   Horrible experience with terrible communication. I chose a local solicitor as I thought this would make the process easier, clearly I was very wrong. After the initial deposit, there was zero communication, with the majority of my emails going without a response and getting even the most basic reply felt like pulling teeth. Clearly they had taken on too much work, however it takes only a moment to acknowledge someone's existence with an email. I would estimate roughly 50% of calls and voicemails went unanswered and even when I did get through, I rarely got to speak to the person I needed to. There were also occasions where I was outright lied to which felt highly unprofessional, and on one occasion we had to resubmit documents that they had lost (I can only assume due to incompetence) and the whole process took far too long and caused excessive, unnecessary stress, the whole thing almost falling through. Even now 3 months after completion there are matters that have not been handled. What makes it worse is seeing the positive reviews, where clearly some people were treated with dignity, and yet from the start I have been continuously ignored.
