I've been a good customer to Penman's, using them for my first house purchase in 2017 and coming straight back to them to complete a house sale and purchase this month. I've spent thousands. Even recommended my brother to this firm who used it for his house purchase a few years ago (in fact he's even left a 5* review). Charles Glover who just completed my purchase and sale was great, can't fault him really. Unfortunately my experience was just tainted completely as I was hit with a £150+VAT cancellation charge for some paperwork I changed my mind on which was originally costing £300+VAT on completion. A basic declaration of trust form. Besides an initial conversation and apparently a draft I really didn't think much had been done with it hence my disappointment. Furthermore, I was in discussions to draw out a will with Penman's. I expressed my dissatisfaction explaining my history as a customer with this firm, and the fact I was going to spend more money with them - unfortunately they opted to proceed with charging me £150+VAT cancellation rather than do what most would consider logical, which is take more business from a willing customer which in turn would earn the firm more. Terrible customer service in this moment to ruin the whole experience - and a shame as my brother is just starting the process to start his house sale...
Excellent service at very short notice, I required authenticate or a Nortary so it could be given to the British Embsay in Manila. I was seen within 3 hrs of calling fir their services. Excellent, friendly and professional service from all at Penmans.
Penmans in Kenliworth could not have done a better job of managing the conveyancing for my mother's recent house move. They were professional and efficient, with fantastic communication throughout. A big thank you to Sue and the team.

Really poor communication. Did not respond to letters or emails. Then I was informed that the solicitor had retired - only found this out when I called the office. No apology given for them not having acted on any of my communications. Really poor service
Awful! Just awful! They have been a nightmare for months and held the process up by half a year. Think before you use them, others have also warned against them. Today should be completion day and they aren't responding. Fuming.
Great service. I recently used Penmans for my house purchase and they were excellent throughout. They completed the conveyance quickly and gave constant communication. Aswell as a first time buyer I had many questions which they took the time to explain every detail. Thank you both Tim and Benedict!
